Introduction
Autonomic computing is an approach to computer systems
design and management that aims to create self-managing and
self-healing systems. The term "autonomic" is derived from the
concept of the autonomic nervous system in biology, which
controls various involuntary functions in the human body
without conscious effort. The idea behind autonomic computing
is to develop computer systems that can automatically adapt
and optimize themselves in response to changing conditions,
much like the autonomic nervous system regulates bodily
functions. These systems are designed to be self-configuring,
self-healing, self-optimizing, and self-protecting.
What is Autonomic Computing ?

Autonomic computing refers to the design and

implementation of computer systems that have self-managing
and self-optimizing capabilities. It is an approach that aims to
create systems that can operate with minimal human
intervention by adapting to changing conditions, detecting and
resolving problems, and optimizing their performance.

Conclusion

o Overall, autonomic computing holds the promise of creating self-

managing and self-optimizing systems that can adapt and respond
to changing conditions, leading to more efficient, reliable, and
resilient computer systems in various domains. As technology
advances, autonomic computing is likely to play an increasingly
vital role in managing the complexity of modern
computing environments.
