undermines academic integrity and will have serious consequences, ranging from downgrading
levels to legal action in some cases. ChatGpt suggests that, using text generated by AI tools
including chatGpt, it’s better to avoid presenting the generated text as your own work. It says
always you should create original content and must give credit where it’s required. Writing
research papers using ChatGpt or similar AI models can present various challenges and
potential problems which includes originality concerns, quality accuracy, incomplete
understanding, creditability issues, ethical concerns, copyright issues and reviewer perception.
To mitigate these problems, researchers should use AI generated texts as a tool to assist in
writing rather than as a substitute for human for human expertise. It’s essential to carefully
review amd edit the generated text and ensure that proper credit is given for any contributes
made by AI.
