As an under graduate student of Mechanical Engineering of MSBTE, it is
mandatory to have an Industrial Training in summer vacation after 4th Semester of aThird
year course. The aim of the industrial training is to understand practical application of
knowledge got in last Two years. Also study the latest technological up gradation in
Industry. It also grooms the budding engineers with the Industrial environment and

 HISTORY & BACKGROUND OF THE COMPANY

 Mega Engineering Private Limited is amongst one of the renowned ferrous


foundries. The company has established in 2015 and started its production in the
same year. It is having a private limited company status and it basically belongs
to Mega group of industries,Chandgad. The company has got ISO 9001:2015
certification. They supply these components to various prominent industries e.g.
Tata Projects Limited , Technip Energies India Limited, Toyo Engineering India Private
Limited, Indian Oil Corporation Limited and so on. A lot of planning, inspection and
testing exercise are required to be followed (in initial, intermediate and final
stages) before the product is dispatched to the customer.

 Infrastructure :-

Mega Engineering Private Limited has a modern and fully equipped


manufacturing facility catering to all aspects of fasteners manufacturing, including the
special processes comprising of Hot Forging, Heat Treatment, Thread Rolling & Tapping
and Surface Coatings. Further, in order to be able to carry out testing of fastener quality,
it has also invested in a full-fledged quality lab.Raw materials, Purchasing & Inventory

 Cuting Machine:-

Providing for superior miter cutting capabilities, these Round Bar Cutting
Machine options are suitable to be used for light to medium duty applications. The
system also features presence of band or circular saw blade that allows easy and more
convenient cutting of structural steel and other metals as per the specific process

 Chamfering machine

Single Head Pipe Chamfering Machine also know as pipe beveling machine is a special
kind of pipe end smooth machine. It is a kind of semi-automatic machine with manual
feeding,automatic chamfering and automatic clamping driven by pneumatic.Chamfering
process can be finished at one time in fast speed and accurate chamfering requirement.
Clamp device and knife holder are precisely designed for ensure the center line between
work-piece and knife holder at the same level. We keep many chamfering machines in
stock for quick shipments.

1. A circular tube modifies an interior angle,an external angle and flat plane at one

 Grinding machine

Our company provide a wide range of Centerless Grinding Machines (Long


Bar), that is used in diverse industries like electrical, electronic, engineering and

 Shot blasting machine:-

Shot Blasting Machine Manufacturers in India often use the term


‘Shot Blasting’ to define various processes such as Grit Blasting,
Abrasive Blasting, Shot Peening and Media Blasting. While the
process of Shot Blasting remains the same, a shot blasting machine
may vary in capacity, size and structural design.
A shot blasting machine makes use of a mechanical method of
propelling abrasive using a centrifugal wheel to remove a layer of
deposits and impurities from the surface of metal and steel products.
There are three basic purposes that require the need to shot blast
before finishing the product:

1. To clean and de-scale a surface in metal castings & forgings.


2. Enhance the Paint & Coatings adhesion to the surface of metal
products.
3. To change the properties of the metal or steel surface by removing the
deposits & impurities.
