Kreatrix
Kreatrix was an enticing and pioneering
event challenging competitors to show off
their ingenuity by morphing an image formed
from several pictures uploaded on
Instagram. Initiated on 17th August 2023, it
paved way for students to merge their
artistic capabilities with technology. This
involved the participants using images
provided to them to create everything new
and original; thus, any mannerisms could be
applied depending on the artist. The
competition such earned a lot of attention
and student participation whose eagerness
never waned even when some people
considered it impossible. All submissions
were expected by September 3rd, 2023
which allowed prospective candidates
enough time for creativity exploration in
order to come up with great pieces of digital
artwork.

Nexus
IETE–SF successfully organized a web development
contest called Nexus 2.0 in which participants displayed
both creativity and technical skills by designing websites.
It was an opportunity for students to apply what they had
learned about web development in real life situations. The
judges were asked to view the websites presented by the
participants and then rate them according to various
aspects including creativity, design, technical proficiency,
and overall presentation. This contest was not just
competitive but also meant to provide participants with
constructive criticism so that they would become better
at their future tasks. By combining creativity with
technical know-how, Nexus 2.0 was indicative of how
much importance there is in today’s web development
field. And a meet with developers, designers and industry
experts was the icing on the cake.

Robo Soccer
Robo soccer is an exciting competition where
teams pit their custombuilt bots against each
other in a soccer arena, with each team allowed
up to three players. Participants craft their bots
following event rules and guidelines,
transforming soccer into a futuristic spectacle.
These manually operated bots engage in high-
speed matches, highlighting innovation and
technical prowess. The bots must navigate the
arena, surmount obstacles, and display
agility and precision in soccer tasks. Robo
soccer challenges engineers to create bots
capable of strategic play, ball control, and
obstacle traversal. This contest tests robotics
and engineering skills while fostering creativity,
problem-solving, and teamwork.

Cloak Coding
Cloak Coding is a unique event that evaluates
participants' programming skills, problem
solving abilities, and adaptability under
pressure. Unlike traditional coding
competitions, Cloak Coding presents a
distinctive challenge by requiring participants to
code without visual feedback. In this scenario,
participants must depend solely on their coding
expertise and mental agility as monitors are
disabled, adding complexity to the competition.
This format motivates participants to refine their
coding skills, improve problem-solving
techniques, and nurture critical and creative
thinking. Coding without visual cues compels
participants to rely on their knowledge of
algorithms, syntax, and logic, establishing a
deeper connection with their code.
