Lesson 1: Getting started – Vietnam and international organization.

I. OBJECTIVES
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to gain:
1. Knowledge
Learn and utilize words and phrases related to international organizations.
Develop the ability to read for specific information
1. Knowledge Objectives:
- Learn about the relationship between Vietnam and international organizations,
including what they do and how they help.
- Build vocabulary related to international organizations so students can clearly
share their ideas about the topic.
2. Core Competence:
- Improve critical thinking skills by discussing and presenting on the international
organizations, helping students express their ideas confidently.
- Work together in pairs and teams, encouraging students to share thoughts and
support each other.
- Participate actively in class activities, showing interest in learning about
international organizations and their role in communities.
3. Personal Qualities:
- Develop a sense of social responsibility by understanding the impact international
organizations on the community.
- Encourage students to take responsibility for their role in the community,
highlighting the impact of their contribution to help these organizations.
