Competencies:
Identify the different extensions used in Scratch programming

Extensions are a class of blocks that add more features to the default Scratch functions.

Music blocks – simulate sounds made by musical instruments, allowing Scratch user to create tunes.
Pen Blocks – can turn any sprite into a pen, and “draw” on the stage via movements.
Video sensing blocks – also known as motion sensing, these blocks allow users to interact with Scratch using
movements and gestures captured with webcam.
Text-To-Speech – allow types-in-text to be read aloud by a synthesized/machine-generated voice.
These blocks require an internet connection to work.
Translate – use google services to translate a block of text into another language.
Makey-Makey micro:bit – used to integrate Scratch with different kinds of
hardware components. The specific components is required to use its related
extension in Scratch.
