3

The chosen unit is the SPC560B54L3 Bolero,

32 bit uC belonging to the SPC5 family.
In the showed schematic extract, there are
listed all the I/Os used by the reference
application, in order to drive the L99DZ100.
Specifically:
➢ SPI
➢ CAN
➢ LIN
➢ NRESET
➢ NINT
➢ DIR_x
➢ CM

FTDI-USB Interface 4

The PC-GUI USB interface is made with a small pluggable pcb

hosting an FTDI FT232RL chip.
The FTDI chip communicates with the uC unit by mean of the
UART protocol.

The two sections, the one with PC and the one with uC
(USB/UART) are interconnected with opto-couplers in order to
achieve Galvanic insulation and to protect PC in case of possible
short circuits on the pcb during tests.

Chipboard Interface 5

The Chipboard interface is a small separated pcb hosting either L99DZ100G or L99DZ120.
On the back side some ceramic capacitors are accommodated.
These capacitor are connected to LDO1, LDO2, CP, VS.
