The Entry Level Network Technician Program was designed with the “Career Changer” in mind. Built on the premise that the road to a

We officially ‘kick off’ this program with the course that embodies the first step towards a career in Technology. The ITF+ course provides
the essential technology skills and knowledge needed to begin the transition into the tech world. Through interactive and real-world training,
Associates will learn to use the features and functions of common operating systems, establish network connectivity, identify common
software applications and their purpose, and use security and web browsing best practices. This course acts as the official launch pad into
the technical genre, with an emphasis on how computers and mobile devices operate.

Part 2: CompTIA A+
We will climb to the next rung of the technology ladder with one of CompTIA’s most popular courses and certifications. Long considered
as the industry standard for Technology workers, this course builds on the basics and goes deeper into hardware, operating systems, and
networking terminology. Associates will gain exposure to Software as a Service (SaaS) applications for remote work and troubleshooting
techniques to diagnose and correct software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
• Support basic IT infrastructure, including endpoint management, advanced device connectivity troubleshooting, and basic networking.
• Configure and support PC, mobile and IoT device hardware.
• Implement basic data backup and recovery methods and apply data storage and management best practices.
• Demonstrate baseline security skills for IT support professionals, including detecting and removing malware, addressing privacy
concerns, physical security, and device hardening.

as cloud-based (SaaS) software.

In this phase, Associates will acquire skills to design, configure, manage, and troubleshoot networks. They will engage in learning exercises to
build and service networks. Wireless and wired network management, mobility, virtualization techniques, critical security concepts, protocols,
standards, and troubleshooting procedures will be addressed.
Learners will gain an understanding of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) seven-layer model, modern network operating systems,
network hardware, cabling standards, remote connectivity, and Internet connections.
