MICRO PROJECT PROPOSAL


On
Bank Management System

1.1 Brief introduction:


A bank is a financial institution which accepts deposits, pays interest on pre-defined rates,
clears checks, makes loans, and often acts as an intermediary in financial transactions. It also
provides other financial services to its customers.
Bank management governs various concerns associated with bank in order to maximize
profits. The concerns broadly include liquidity management, asset management, liability
management and capital management.
The origin of bank or banking activities can be traced to the Roman empire during the
Babylonian period. It was being practiced on a very small scale as compared to modern day
banking and frame work was not systematic.

1.2 Aim of the micro-project:


The bank management system is an application for maintaining a person account in a
bank.. The system provides the access to the customer to create an account, deposit/withdraw
the cash from his account, also to view reports of all accounts present.

1.3 Intended Course Outcomes:


1. Time consumption will be less.
2. Customer won’t have to wait for long time.
3. Everything will be very fast instead of hand written.
4. No calculation problem as it will be does by the computers.
5. A proper database will be generated. Avoiding the use of register. Books.
6. Customer satisfaction will be good.

1.4 Literature Review:


The purpose of this project is in partial fulfillment of requires of customer using the online
banking for payment. The design and development of this bank management system provide
a more secured approach in managing bank customer’s information which strengthens the
relationships between banks and their customers by providing the right solutions that uses a
multi-level security to improve customers’ satisfaction. The programming language used to
develop this project is.java.
The domain “banking system “keeps the day tally record as a complete banking.it can keep
the information of account type, account opening form, deposit, withdrawal, and searching
the transaction, transaction report, individual account opening form, group account. The
exciting part of this project is; it display transaction reports, statistical summary of account
type and interest information.

1.5. Proposed Methodology:
