Reflections

I started the project at the second week after our Module Lecturer, Dr Qiang
Guo gave out the project, it wasn’t easy at first sight but when I contact Dr
Qiang Guo, he explains it to me and highlight me about it. Though have been
working with python but the computational thinking just got me, even though
I later work it through, especially the Problem Scenario.

I woke up early every single day for me to complete my task, I brainstorm

every section of the Modules starting with the computational thinking which
was quite easy, when I started the task, after contacting Dr Qiang Guo, I also
contact few of my friends who are into programming in Nigeria to help me
through.

Anyway, my friend Isaiah help me with some resources for me to understand

like geeksforgeeks.org, w3schhools, the task which is simple after I go
through the resources, we also brainstorm together in the Problem Scenario,
we call each other on goggle meet and also on WhatsApp video call to
explain it to each other and we later succeed. We followed every step outline
in the course-assessment requirements. After he has explained it to me, I
decided to do it by myself, I was confused first but I later get it. I decided a
correct answer come from rigorous thinking and trying one more time till you
get the answer, so I spent a long time in each task and more of time in
Problem Scenario. I was feeling confident when I’m done with it.

After I’m done with it, I called my Friend, I showed him the answer, then he
replied with Bravo! my bro, I was impressed, so I list out what I have learnt
during the project.

They included:

- Matrices in Python

- How to use Python to create a game like chess, because I learn it

during the problem Scenario task

-Python NumPy in Array, NumPy which is a library in array we can use if

we don’t want to use list.

I also write down the algorithm for the Gobang Game in My programming
books in case I need it at a place where I’m not with my laptop. I really love
the projects process which I use a total of two weeks on.
During the process of the assessment, I sometimes run a code and have a
bug, but I take a effective measure to debug it just like the one I’m about to
show.

Debugging a code is very easy, my debugging skill can help me in future, I

sometimes have a python error like this one

Whenever I encounter a bug, I go back to the code I run and made some
amendment’s, which I later figure out the problem, debugging is a very interesting
thing I enjoy doing.

This Module-assessments make me to develop some personal learning plan like:

- I identify the learning objective.

- I break the objectives into smaller plan.

- I Develop my plan.

- I take advantage of available resources.
