Cisco Communications Manager Express (CME) provides the ability for presence capabilities, permitting users to monitor the busy status
of other local users. Presence allows users to subscribe to change in the line status of phones in the Cisco Unified CME system. This
article walks through configuring the CME system with a single presence subscription, and details the steps for verification. Categories
In CME, configuring presence requires:
Barge and Privacy
1. Enabling presence globally

2. Allowing a DN to be monitored (watched)
