Arduino Project - Prototyping and Testing Log

Assignment Overview
For this assignment, you are going to keep track of your prototyping and testing process by
recording your code and drawings of your circuits into this worksheet. You can use this
worksheet or create your own.

1. Draw the first prototype of your circuit. You can download and print this image, then draw
right on it, in order to keep things neat and tidy. You will be submitting a picture of this
first prototype, so be sure to make it neat and tidy. Please put your name and the date
on the top of it. Start with a small part of the circuit. For example, if your project is going
to use an LED or two as part of the circuit, draw that part of the circuit first, build that
section and get it working before building the entire circuit.

Recommendation: If you want to draw and edit your circuit on your computer, go to
www.fritzing.org where you can download their free, open source software, or sign up for an
account with www.tinkercad.com. You could also copy this image into a drawing program on
your computer, where you could add lines.

2. After you finish your first drawing, build your circuit with the real parts, write your code in
the Arduino IDE, and give it a try. Copy and paste your code into the box below.

Note: If you are starting with a circuit or sketch that you found online or in a book, draw that
sketch and use that open source code as your first prototype.

For every significant addition or change to your circuit or code, complete another page of this
worksheet. Copy and paste as many pages as you need in order to keep track of the major
changes to your prototype.
