    STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

    I am eager to study Informatics at the Technical University of Košice (TUKE) for my


    undergraduate degree , with a focus to deepening my knowledge in computer science, exploring
    fields like data science, artificial intelligence, and automation. Currently, I am in Class XII,
    having scored 86% in my Class X examinations, it further fueled my drive to pursue a career
    in computer science. My goal is to gain the skills and experience necessary to develop smart
    systems that address real-world challenges, especially those where technology and ethics
    intersect. TUKE’s emphasis on practical learning and research aligns perfectly with my
    ambitions and offers me an affordable path to a quality education that is often hard to find in
    most Indian private universities.

    My journey in computer science began early, as gadgets were no stranger to me. From the age
    of five, I was fascinated by technology, but my passion truly ignited when I delved into the
    underlying structures that power modern tech. Learning how 0s and 1s could transform
    complex, unprocessed data into informations that shapes our modern life was a revelation. This
    curiosity then expanded to machine learning, which I found beautifully similar to teaching a
    child, though here, learning happens within circuits and electric currents rather than neurons
    and cells. These experiences not only fueled my interest in computer science but also led me
    to pursue a structured approach to learning in this field.

    To strengthen my foundations, I prepared for and passed the qualifier exam for the IIT Madras
    BS degree in Data Science and Programming, an achievement that reinforced my commitment
    to the field. This experience also drove me to dive into areas like data analysis, automation,
    and machine learning. Through self-study I learned Python,SQL and HTML which are the most
    necessary tools for a Data scientist.

    Alongside academics, I have honed valuable leadership skills. As the party leader in the Young
    Indians Parliament (YIP), I guided my team in generating ideas and driving discussions. This
    role taught me the importance of collaboration, creativity, and effective communication—
    qualities that I am excited to bring to TUKE, where teamwork and community are highly valued.

    TUKE stands out to me for its focus on hands-on learning and its strong research culture. The
    university’s collaborations with Slovak industries and its emphasis on real-world applications
    offer the ideal environment for me to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings, gaining
    insights into professional practices. I am particularly interested in contributing to and learning
    from TUKE’s Intelligent Information Systems Lab (IISLAB), where I hope to work alongside
    faculty and peers on innovative projects. Additionally, TUKE’s Erasmus exchange
    opportunities will allow me to engage with diverse perspectives and global advancements in
    computer science.

    In the long term, I hope to become a Data scientist who creates meaningful, ethical solutions
    to modern challenges. TUKE, with its strong academic community and focus on
    interdisciplinary research, is the ideal place for me to grow toward this goal. I am confident
    that, given the opportunity, I will contribute actively to TUKE and gain the knowledge and
    skills to make a positive impact through technology. Thank you for considering my application.

    forward to contributing to and learning from this vibrant academic community.
