SmartConsole:

Check Point SmartConsole makes it easy to manage security for complex networks. It is a GUI
client you use to manage the Check Point environment. Smart Console is GUI application with
the help of GUI client an administrator can configure security policy for all entire organization.
SmartConsole is used for Security Settings such as Everything regarding Access Lists, IPS, Anti-
Virus, Anti-Spam, Anti-Bot, Application Control, etc.

Gateways and Servers where you can Manage Security Gateways, Activate Software Blades,
Add, edit, delete gateways and clusters, run scripts, run actions, see summary, task, error
validation messages, backup and restore gateways and view gateway status.
Security Policies is used to Manage the Access Control Software Blades, DLP, VPN, Application
Control and URL Filtering, and Mobile Access. Edit multiple policies at the same time, Add, edit,
or delete NAT rules. Manage the Threat Prevention Software Blades IPS, Anti-Bot, Anti-Virus,
Threat Emulation. Edit the unified threat Rule Base. Configure threat profiles for all Software
Blades. Add, edit, or delete exceptions and exception groups etc.

In the Logs & Monitor view, tab to open a catalog of all views and reports, predefined and
customized. Click a view or report to open it. In this window you can open views that show you
security events, logs, audit logs, and regulation compliance.
Manage & Settings use these windows to configure Administrators, Permission profiles, Trusted
Clients, Sessions, Software Blades, Database Revisions, Idle Timeout and Login messages.

Command Line is available for Command Line Interface CLI access. Open a command line
interface for management scripting and API. You can also configure objects and rules through
the command line interface, which you can access from SmartConsole. You can create and run
API scripts to manage configuration and operations on the Security Management Server.
Object Explorer is used to create and edit network objects. See unused objects by clicking All
and selected Unused Objects also export a list of objects to CSV format.
