9
We stand for women empowerment: It is pretty obvious that
there exists gender-based differences in our society and these
can act as constraints to the development of any society.
Therefore, we are really working hard to involve more and
more girls from the rural areas to engage in the educational
programmes. Various vocational training programs are also
held from time to time to train them for their empowerment.

Education: In order to fulfill our mission of providing quality

education to the less privileged, we have been running
workshops. We are leaving no stones unturned to develop the
over-all personality of the children. We are working on
holistically developing the curriculum for the maximum
benefits to the children. Expenses other than tuition fees are
born by us to motivate the students to continue pursuing
irrespective of their socio-economic conditions.

10
1.2 WHY SHOULD YOU DONATE?

“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” – Winston
Churchill

Our programmes are curated to encourage innovation and to teach exceptional

approach because no problem is identical. No child is born equal but can certainly
aspire to be one because we believe once we inspire one, the inspiration can motivate
all to dream beyond the barriers of finance and help build a better, brighter society
ahead for everyone. To realize this vision, the children need you. They need your
contribution to make a real change and you can contribute to bring that change now.

STUDENT INTERNSHIP

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” ―
Benjamin Franklin
12
What truly helps us grow is going beyond our comfort zone and expanding our
boundaries of experiences and explorations. Internships are an excellent way to do
so. The integration of real-life application of knowledge with theoretical
understanding in Internships helps us knowing our true calling besides building
industry-relevant skills most effectively. So what are you waiting for. Apply now to
find your own true calling.

STUDENT MENTORSHIP

“Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a push in the right direction.” –
John Crosby
Although mentorship can play a pivotal role in the success of a developer’s career,
there is a severe mentorship deficit within the technical industry. This can be mostly
attributed to developers not knowing who to ask or where to start. We must
streamline the process of finding a mentor in the technical industry in order to
promote growth through a developer’s career.

STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

A scholarship is an award of financial aid for a student to further their education at a

private elementary or secondary school, or a private or public post-secondary
college, university, or other academic institution .We provide scholarships to
students who have the potential to reach new level of heights and help them reach
them by providing all the help they need.

WORKSHOP

Every student deserves the chance to explore, advance, and succeed in the world of
coding.

13
Our objective is very clear towards kids development by teaching them
programming languages, block coding, python coding, etc., and opening a new
world of opportunities with fun and creativity for them. We provide free coding
workshops for Grade 1 - 12 students, and we help teachers get to grip on
programming too. We teach the fundamentals of coding and real-world
programming skills with practical to kids. In our workshop, we teach all the basic
concepts of app, game, and website development to kids

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

In this era technology is booming at par and this is what has inspired us to take
education to next level by providing classes with a perfect blend of face-to-face
interaction of student and teacher through online platform. And the best part is, not
to leave anyone behind, we are providing many skill building classes for all the girls
who want to learn and unlearn. Especially those who can’t afford education. so the
classes such as coding and many more will be provided free of cost.

14
1.6 COMPANY’S PARTNER

CodeKaroYaaro is an online coding school presenting specially designed courses

for kids from 6 to 15 years of age. Gone are the days when one out of a few fifty
people knew about computers. Nowadays, everything is no less than a rat race and
technology has become one of the prerequisites to move ahead in life. It is high time
to educate and familiarize kids with the concepts that drive the latest technology.
You must have undoubtedly heard how programming initiates new innovations in
the technical domain. What better way for our children to understand why and how
the technology around them operates than by learning to code and adapting to the
technology around them.

Objective is to encourage kids to learn computer fundamentals through coding to

develop their problem solving and critical thinking ability. Today, coding has
become an extremely useful skill to possess. A child who learns how to code will
have an advantage in terms of employment opportunities available to them in the
future, no matter which industry they decide to enter. Just like learning a language,
or to play a musical instrument, children need motivation. We are here to develop
curiosity among kids for coding. Usually seeing results along the way is enough to
cultivate this, and this is what happens when children learn to code. This is why
programming is being taught in schools but what about those who don't get this
opportunity. Well in that case you should allow us to help you.

SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis is a framework
used to evaluate a company's competitive position and to develop strategic planning.
SWOT analysis assesses internal and external factors, as well as current and future
potential.

A SWOT analysis is designed to facilitate a realistic, fact-based, data-driven look at

the strengths and weaknesses of an organization, initiatives, or within its industry.
The organization needs to keep the analysis accurate by avoiding preconceived
beliefs or gray areas and instead focusing on real-life contexts. Companies should

3.2 HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Human Resource Management is a strategic approach to the employment,
development and wellbeing of the people working in an organization. Human
resources management involves all management decisions and actions that affect the
relationship between the organization and its employees – in other words, its human
resources.
To understand HRM, the functions of HRM must be taken into consideration. The
functions of HRM are managerial, operative and advisory.

Managerial functions include:

• Planning : The planning function of HRM ensures the best fit between employees
and jobs while avoiding manpower shortages or surpluses for the organization. There
are four key steps of the HRP process: Analyzing present human resource supply,
forecasting human resource demand, balancing projected the human resource
demand with supply, and aligning the first three steps to the organizational goals.
27
• Organizing : Organizing is the function of HRM that involves developing an
organizational structure to ensure the accomplishment of the organizational goals.
The structure is usually represented by an organization chart, which provides a
graphic representation of the chain of command within an organization.

• Directing : This includes activating employees at different levels and making them
contribute maximum towards organizational goal. Tapping maximum potentialities
of an employee via constant motivation and command is a prime focus for this
function of HRM.
• Controlling : Post planning, organizing and directing, performance of an employee
is to be evaluated, verified and compared with organizational goals. If performance
is found to be deviating from the plan, control measures are to be taken.

HRM STRATEGIES:

1. CREATE AWARENESS

The first step in the strategic HRM process is to analyze the current organizational
goals and objectives or start afresh by building them from scratch. Creating
awareness about your organizational goals and strategies begins by interacting with
each department and helping them understand their contribution to the overall
mission.

2. FORMULATE ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS

Step two in strategic Human Resource Management is to formulate and plan

organizational goals and objectives. This step is critical as it outlines what the
organization wants to achieve in the future. In this step, values and culture play a
key role; they must be in sync with the mission statement and strategy. If managers
or leaders have differences in their attitude or expectations, internal conflicts may
not be desirable. Thus, it is imperative to communicate the values and mission of the
organization with all.

28
3. ANALYZE THE EXTERNAL FACTORS THAT MAY AFFECT YOUR
BUSINESS

Once organizational goals get finalized, it is time to understand the several factors
that may impact the objective. First, start by analyzing the external factors that may
affect the business.
The external factors that you must analyze are:

1. Current demands and expectations

2. Future expectations from your organization’s products or services
3. Competitive analysis
4. Industry trends

4. ANALYZE THE INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT AND RESOURCES

The understanding of internal resources and processes defines strategic Human

Resource Management. Evaluating an organization’s current capabilities enables HR
to understand its present and future requirements, including resources and other
allocations. With such insights, they can create an actionable plan for the
organization.

5.IDENTIFY THE RISKS AND STRATEGIC OPPORTUNITIES

While internal and external analysis helps understand and prepare for risks that may
arise, risk analysis is different altogether. Identifying risks and strategic
opportunities help create an ideal and agile Human Resource strategy tailored to its
need. Use the findings from the internal and external analysis to help in this stage.

6.PERFORM A GAP ANALYSIS

Once you’ve identified the risks and opportunities, the next step is to notice and
highlight your strategy gaps. Gap analysis points out the strengths and weaknesses
29
of the organization. This allows businesses to allocate their resources in an effective
and optimum manner.

7. DEVELOP ALTERNATIVE STRATEGIES

Despite a thorough understanding of external risks, several problems are

unforeseen, such as the Coronavirus pandemic. Creating alternative strategies is all
about ensuring the organization has a plan to adapt to its surroundings. The threats
to organizations posed due to changing markets, financial inadequacies, high-speed
modernization, or new technology’s emergence are equally unprecedented; a
business must maintain a dynamic approach to overcome them.

8. IMPLEMENT A STRATEGIC HRM

The success of strategic Human Resource Management depends equally on its

implementation. After analysis and forecasting, it’s time to start implementing and
educating current workers on the new strategy. To achieve the utmost benefits from
your Human Resource Management strategy, you can:
• Focus on hiring: Depending on the new requirements, start focusing on hiring
resources with the future-ready skill-sets to help steer the organization from being
agile and ready for future needs.

• Revise onboarding and training to align with the new focus: Recreate
onboarding and training processes to align with the new objectives and ensure
that new hires understand the revised ethos.

• Organize training and gradually shift organizational values to the new

culture: Training is an excellent option for moving existing employees’ thought
processes to adopt new values.

30
9. MEASURE & CONTROL PROCESSES

Finally, once you’ve implemented a strategic HRM, measuring the success or

tracking its progress is equally important. Create the necessary checks and evaluate
progress periodically to help manage and control strategic Human Resource
Management processes.

31
CHAPTER -4
LESSON LEARNT

32
4.1 EXPERIENCE
Throughout the course of my 8week intership , I worked with the marketing and
promotions team. Based on my eight weeks as an intern, I realized that I was
successful to gather a lot of significant learning experiences which would be helpful
in my future career. Throughout my experiences, I was able to gain a better
understanding of how to market your product and services. The Marketing
department of Edu4sure offered me opportunities, not only to learn but also to exhibit
my skills as a Marketing team member.

One of the most important things I took away from the internship is to handle work
pressure, time management and the new found knowledge, which includes knowing
how to fulfill tasks relevant to my desired career path. Not only that, but I also spent
time sharpening and enhancing the skills I already possessed.

After my internship, I’ve enhanced my communication skills and expressing my

thoughts over a topic by being polite and expressing myself gently.

4.2 PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE

REGULAR ACTIVITIES-
➢ Blog promotion
➢ Blog commenting
➢ Image sharing
➢ Video sharing
➢ Classified ads

33
SPECIAL ACTIVITES-
➢ Query handling
➢ Content creation
➢ Client dealing
➢ Managing excel data
➢ Social media Campaign

OTHER ACTIVITIES-
➢ Transferable skills
➢ Discovering my interest
➢ Abridging list of workplace

34
4.4 SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

• Increase Budget on Social Media Marketing:

One of the number one failures of brands not doing well on social media
according to a research by Nielsen's is the reason of low budget allocated
where on average only 1.2 % of the total communication and promotion
budget is allocated to digital social media communication.

• Hire the right people:

With a small business looking to grow, it's important to have the right
employees in the company who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. They
have to be dedicated to the mission. Hiring the absolute best people you can
is a surefire way to ensure fast growth. It’s all about having the right team.

• Increase Effectiveness of Brand Pages on Social Media:

Most brand pages are too focused on posting and communicating products
and services to people newsfeed where the social media user will get annoyed
at a particular time and un-follow or unlike the page. It's always better for the
brand page to promote non-brand communication like humor, tips and other
benefitting message of the user than only blatantly posting and
communicating product and service benefit. The best method to use is a
mixture of product and lifestyle, humor and tips communication from brands
than product and service promotion.

• Focus on your customer experience:

Customers' perceptions of your business can really make or break a business.
Deliver quality experiences and products, and they'll quickly sing your praises
on social media. Fast growth depends on making your current and potential
customers happy with their experience.

35
4.5 CONCLUSION
This internship with Suvidha Foundation was a transformative experience, allowing
me to apply theoretical HR knowledge in a meaningful, practical setting. Working
with a non-profit highlighted the unique challenges and rewards of HR in the social
sector, such as the emphasis on mission alignment and the importance of a
supportive work culture. I leave this experience with enhanced HR skills, a deeper
understanding of non-profit operations, and a commitment to contributing positively
to society.

The internship allowed me to gain hands-on experience in a variety of HR functions,

from recruitment and engagement to performance management. I learned how to
manage employee satisfaction, design engagement strategies, and contribute to
recruitment efforts in an environment with limited resources. Unlike corporate HR
departments that often operate with larger budgets, I experienced the flexibility and
creativity needed to operate effectively in a non-profit sector. This required
adaptability and a deeper understanding of the organization’s mission and values to
align HR practices with its overall goals.
One of the key takeaways from my internship was the significance of aligning HR
practices with the organization’s mission. In a non-profit, every HR decision—
whether it’s recruitment, training, or employee engagement—must reflect the values
and goals of the organization. I gained a deeper appreciation for how HR strategies
contribute not only to organizational success but also to creating a positive work
culture that motivates employees to work towards the broader social goals.
The internship was not without its challenges. One of the primary obstacles was the
resource constraints often encountered in non-profit organizations. With a limited
budget, implementing some HR strategies required innovative approaches and
careful prioritization. I also faced challenges in coordinating across different teams,
as many employees had diverse backgrounds and varied levels of experience.
However, these challenges allowed me to develop strong problem-solving and
collaboration skills, which are crucial in the HR field.
