Q: What are the steps of Conditional Formatting?

To apply conditional formatting, we follow the steps:

Step 1: Select the range of cells.

Step 2: On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click the down arrow of
Conditional Formatting.

Step 3: Select a rule from drop-down list. Greater Than dialog box
appears.

Step 4: Select the formatting condition. Click OK.

Recap:
1) Sorting is done in two ways: (a) Sorting on one column (b) Sorting on
more than one column.

2) Filter is an option in Microsoft Excel.

Filter helps to retrieve data to edit, analyse, format or even print it.

3) Auto Filter is used to filter a column or row to view the data based
on a specified condition.

Custom Filter is used to filter data based on the multiple conditions.

Advanced Filter is used to filter data based on specific complex criteria.


It also copies filtered data to a different location.
