(F). Working Experience

I have worked with The Aids Support Organization (TASO) for supporting Biharwe HCIII and Rubaare HCIV
in the following activities from Feb 2021- Feb 2022.

✓ I have supported the facility team in review of client files to identify gaps, line list, map, follow up and
documenting services provided

✓ I have participated in updating primary data tools ie registers, tracking and reporting tools

✓ Participation in site review meetings to address the service provision gaps and actions for improvement

✓ Working with the laboratory staff at the facility to conduct home based or community viral load bleeding for
index clients to improve viral load coverage

✓ Screening CALHIV for TB, presume and link them for sputum sample collection and initiate those eligible
for INH either from home or in the community

✓ Conducting root cause analysis for the low viral load coverage among young men and Adolscents living
with HIV

✓ Identifying reasons for where the service has not been provided and follow up for action to ensure the client
is rescheduled for the service

✓ I have worked with the health teams to facilitate provision and access to early infant diagnostic (EID)
services for HIV exposed infants(HEI)

✓ Coordinated in follow up of clients (mother baby pairs) to improve retention in care for option B+ patients
and their exposed infants

✓ Supported in professional continuous medical education sessions in line with EMTCT and related MCH
areas

✓ Promoting early initiation of ANC (12-14weeks) by pregnant women through community mobilisation
✓Ensuring retesting of HIV negative pregnant women during antenatal, labour and postnatal in line with
national guidelines.

✓ Ensuring health workers get updated and required tools to support care

✓ Ensuring the facility make and submit required reports in time and generate reports for program reporting.
