Building Communication Module
provides the BACnet IP-protocol via an Ethernet interface. The BCM represents
an advantageous variant compared with the gateway realization by a collective
protocol converter in a separate box, when few A/C units or chillers are
concerned. With 3 units and more, the solution with a collective protocol
converter is more favourable in price. However, the redundancy in the usage of
BCMs is intrinsically higher.

the main board of the IO controller.
