YouTube, starting as a platform for sharing


homemade videos, has evolved into a global hub for
all kinds of content. From funny cat videos to
tutorials on almost anything you can think of,
YouTube has something for everyone. With billions of
users tuning in daily, it's where people go to watch,
learn, and connect. YouTube was created by three
former PayPal employees Steve Chen, Chad Hurley,
and Jawed Karim in February 2005. They started the
platform with the aim of providing a space for people
to share and watch videos online.
