Native Kid’s Conversation

 “We were at the nail salon, okay? And there was this lady when we were waiting for
something and she was talking about her daughter when she kissed her. She wiped it off
and put it in her heart.”
 “They’re kicking their football and they almost kicked us! When me and Virginia were
walking past in the walking trial and the boys were kicking the ball and it almost hit us!
It went in front of us but it almost hit us!
I was like Virginia how rude of them they almost hit us!
I was like Bodie! And rolled my eyes ‘cause I am savage.”
 “So these guys made friendship bracelets. They were best friends like me and Virginia
and they said they will be alive at least their bracelets were still on.”
 “Mom, I’m taking my socks off so I can save them for later!”
 You got a loose tooth? “So I got home from school and Grammy got me a cookie so I
bit into it. I was gonna save it for later so I wanna taste it. A little taste test and I tasted it
and I was like ow my teeth and I wiggled it and it came out. Well it didn’t come out but
it was wiggly so...”
