REVIEWER
Limit of a Function
The limit of a function (f) as (x) approaches (a) is L, denoted
by
lim ( fx )=l if and only if any ε > 0 , there exists a δ >0 such that wherever
3|x−2|< 3 δ δ∨∆−Delta
|3 x−6|<3 δ ∃−there ∃
Take: ε = 3 δ or δ = ε /3
Proof: Given ε > 0, ∃ δ>0 such that when |x−2|< δ and δ = ε /3, then
|x−2|< δ
|x−2|< ε /3
3|x−2| ε
|3 x−6| ε

6. Limit of a Radical
The limit of the nth root of a function is equal to the nth root
of the limit of a function. lim √ f (x )= lim f (x )
