The J ob on Offer

We are currently recruiting for a DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer to support an impressive luxury Retail
client who is growing rapidly. There is an opportunity to join an expanding team on a large digital
transformation and re-platform programme to support their continued growth and business ambition.
Technical direction has been established and support is now required to embed processes and execute
the work to meet the demands of the business. The future vision of the luxury retail client is a platform
that will support fast and incremental changes to facilitate their ambitious growth targets. You will be
part of a dedicated Lean Tree team tasked with supporting the business through these game changing
strategic programmes.

Your Role and Key Act ivit ies

• Responsible for working with the client teams to lead, define and implement the build,
deployment and monitoring standards
• Closely work with the Agile development teams to deliver an end-to-end automation of
deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment
• Working closely with our development team to create an automated continuous integration (CI)
and continuous delivery (CD) system
• Work with client teams to build and configure delivery environments supporting CD/CI tools
using an Agile delivery methodology
 • Create scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and
management tasks as required
• Provide leadership around monitoring and support of replatform systems and infrastructure
• Develop custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce manual tasks
• Contribute to the design of information and operational support systems
• Organize the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, acting proactively
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system
management tools
• Oversee the company’s security, backup, and redundancy strategies;
• Evaluate application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, develop solutions, and
implement them with client teams.

Required Experience:

• DevOps / DevSec Ops with proven and demonstrable track record, and at least 4 years' experience
• Ability to work in an open team Agile environment
• Demonstrates security first ethos
• Demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, engineering practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure testing strategies
• Experience with systems reliability, load balancing, monitoring, logging
• Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, from code commits to production
• Develop, document, and implement CI/CD strategy for management of Infrastructure as Code IaC
baseline
• Experience deploying and monitoring web applications in AWS
• Solid experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux based environments;
• Excellent knowledge of networking technologies, particularly with OSI network layers and TCP/IP;
• Strong scripting skills, including shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python, Go, Groovy, Helm, etc;
• Good experience in administering and performance tuning of application stacks, such as Tomcat,
JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX, and others.
• Experience in one or more large-scale digital re-platforming programme a strong advantage.
• Ahigh level of team contribution, seek opportunities to provide input and support across the team
