To Check functionality of "
TEST OBJECTIVE:- Find and Replace" in notepad.
ENVIORNMENT: WIN 2k, Notepad.
TC# Test Scenario Pre- Condition Test Steps
Check the availablilty of the
1&2 Find Option. Click Edit menu from menu bar.
Check the navigation
3-a) through Short cut keys Press Ctrl + F
Check the navigation
3-b) through Short cut keys Press Ctrl + H
Check the navigation Click Edit menu from menu bar and
3-C) through mouse then FIND
4 The cursor default postion . Find box should be open.
5 To Check find Button. Find box should be open. Press Find Button
To check the Search control
6 in the page. Find box should be open. Press Find Button
If the user want to search a
single word , more than once.
Then after competition of 1st
search, the search button
7 should be enable for next also Find box should be open. Press Find Button, Find Next
8 To check the Replace control. Find box should be open. Click on Replace
9-a) Replace the exact work Find box should be open. Click on Replace
Don’t replace, when there is

Check Cancel button
10 funtionality Find box should be open. Click Cancel
Untill user did not put text in
find option , the replace button Put some text in text space

Goto option should be
