Introduction
SAP Asset Strategy and Performance Management is a Internet of Things (IoT) application seamlessly integrated with the SAP BTP.

The aim of SAP Asset Strategy and Performance Management is to maintain a global registry of equipment that uses common
definitions. These common definitions are then shared between multiple business partners such as manufacturers or original
equipment manufacturers (OEMs), or operators, or service providers to deliver new collaborative business models resulting in true
operational excellence.

About this Application


The aim of this application is to:

Standardize equipment management through asset master data and spare parts information available for update from the
network

Streamline maintenance through access to the latest task lists and service bulletins on maintenance strategies

Achieve collaborative design and execution for complex installation or maintenance procedures

Institute collaborative network services, for managing equipment, collecting asset performance analysis and feedback, and
fostering usage-based design enhancement.

Supported Browsers and Devices


You can use the SAP Asset Strategy and Performance Management applications on a number of devices and browsers.

The browser support for the solution is aligned with the browsers supported by SAP BTP cockpit. For more information, see the
Browser Support sub-section in the topic Prerequisites and Restrictions for SAP BTP.

Some of the features are not supported on few devices or browsers. The following list provides you this information:

You cannot work with hotspots or 3D visual files on any of the handheld devices other than a PC and a MAC.

You cannot upload files on an iPad that is using an SAP Fiori Client.

Personal dashboard is preconfigured for end users only and does not include administrator relevant transactions. However,
administrator can directly access the URL to navigate to each individual Admin app.
