Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Engineering Intern to assist in the design,
development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity for
someone who is passionate about data, eager to learn, and ready to tackle complex
engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

● Assist in building, optimizing, and maintaining robust data pipelines.


● Collaborate with Data Engineers to integrate new data sources into our data ecosystem.
● Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to store and manage large datasets.
● Support the creation of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data ingestion and
transformation.
● Help ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems.
● Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to make data available for analysis and
reporting.
● Write clean, maintainable code for data processing and transformation tasks.
● Work on data quality initiatives by helping identify inconsistencies or errors in datasets.
● Participate in code reviews and team meetings to improve data engineering skills.

Skills & Qualifications:

● Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering,


Information Systems, or a related field.
● Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
● Knowledge of SQL and database concepts (experience with relational databases like
PostgreSQL or MySQL is a plus).
● Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL tools (experience with tools like Airflow or
Spark is an advantage).
● Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
● Knowledge of Big Data technologies (such as Hadoop, Hive, Kafka) is a plus.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
● Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
