David Mecey’s Book of Legs

As I hope you’re already aware, I’ve published a number of books over the past
several

years of my work. All are an assortment of the types of photography I’m best
known, that

being photographs of women.

I was a staff and contributing photographer for Playboy magazine for well over
two

decades, with me still to this day continuing to pursue photography of women


for editorial

and commercial clients worldwide.

I began with my first book, Passion, which was a book of black & white
images
photographed with little more than natural light with nudity as its theme. It was a
departure

from my years working for Playboy where I would need to light the entire scene
from model

to background using a number of strobes. That book was my way to move away
from that

style to a more raw or edgy one, which for me was taking me back to my roots in

photography. A time when I first began to teach myself lighting all those years
ago.

Next I did my Book of Butts, which is fairly obvious as to its theme, followed by
my Book of

Boobs. Yeah, those two glorious items all women possess and on what the
Playboy empire

was basically founded.


While I did those titles though, there was always something else rattling around
in the back

of my mind which needed attention. That being a woman’s beautiful face, so I


did a book on

faces titled Beauty, which to this day I’m still quite partial.

Now, with those other books out of the way, there’s still one more portion of a
woman’s

anatomy that needs to be shared. Which, by the way, the editors at Playboy
always felt was

my favorite, that being legs.

Yes, I was always known as a leg man at the magazine, though I felt I was
capable of

photographing every part of a woman well, the consensus was, David’s a leg
man.

So be it, I do love a great set of legs. In fact, I will admit, when I spot a woman
and she’s
wearing shorts or mini-dress or whatever that’s revealing those gorgeous stems,
they are

what catch my eye first, no doubt. Next though, it’s her face, yes, then all the
rest. But if I

spot a set of sleek legs, even from a distance, they are the magnet that draws me
in to want

to see more.

Here is another loving look at my work, this time devoted to legs, which granted,
will reveal

often times those other attributes listed above, stars of my previous books. For a
woman is a

combination of all those wonderful items that make them what we men love so
much; a

beautiful face, gorgeous boobs, a firm, cute butt and a glorious pair of legs.
So I beg you to savor the work I’ve been able to do over the years and ask you to
please look

into my other books, as I feel they all contain parts that make women who they
are, beauties

all.
