 INTRODUCTION

Unlike English, we NEVER write letters

separate to form a word. The letters are

always joined/connected to form a word. It is

very important though to know how each

letter looks like in its separate and joined

forms

In Arabic, each letter can be pronounced with

different accents via movements (signs

above/below the letter). In this guide, I did

not include the movements to make it simple

for the reader. The movements are also not

written in any scripts for us natives. The

student will not need these movements as

he/she can pronounce along with the native

speaker

THE ARABIC ALPHABET

The Arabic language is based on 28 alphabet

letters that are written from right to left

The Arabic alphabet letters are written in their

separate form like this
