Linkages for Industry and
Trade (ROLL IT) Program

Better road infrastructure connecting the industries

and trade will further facilitate balanced
development, dispersal of industries away from
urban areas towards the rural areas, creating more
job and income opportunities to more Filipinos.

A total of 2,790 km of roads were identified

supporting industry and trade development. As of
2018, PHP12.6bn (USD244mn) has been allocated
for the construction and upgrading of about 438 km
access roads leading to industries and trade
corridors.

Infrastructure Program
(TRIP)

The Tourism Road Infrastructure Program is aligned

with the strategic direction of National Tourism
Development Plan (NTDP) to improve access and
connectivity to tourism gateways, service centers
and tourism sites.

A total of PHP65.8bn (USD1.28bn) was allocated

from 2016 to 2018 for the construction,
rehabilitation and upgrading of about 2,721 km of
roads leading to declared destinations.
