Aims and Objectives The main aim of this course is to:

- introduce students to the English language used in the workplace.


- provide students opportunities to discuss realistic situations.
- comprehend English in four categories: speaking, reading, listening and
vocabulary.
- equip students with necessary knowledge of grammar, as an integral part
of speaking and reading practice sessions.

Learning Outcomes By the end of this course students will be able to:

- introduce their aims and aspirations in their field of study


- discuss field-related topics and exchange ideas
- use new words and phrases related to English for Computer
Science
- show confidence in using English through discussion activities
- read adapted articles in English fluently
- listen for information in English and take notes
- make short presentations
- use English in social situations
- use the language and communication skills developed through units
