S3 2 Filtering and Sorting Data in Excel 365 Starting Spreadsheet
The Exercise:
To complete the exercise successfully, you will need to do the following tasks:
1. Filter the worksheet data using filter tools.
a. Open the Order worksheet.
b. Add a filter to the Sales channel column to display information about the online sales channe
c. Modify the applied filter to display the data for distributor sales channel only.
d. Clear the set filter.

3. Sort the data.
a. Open the Sales worksheet.
b. Select the range of cells from A1 to F12.
c. Sort Table by order quantity based cell color.(using custom sort )
d. Retain the selection of cells from A1 to F12.
e. Sort the data in the ascending order of order quantity.
f. Open the Order worksheet.
g. Select the range of cells from A1 to H20.
h. Create a custom list to order the warehouse codes. The
values of the custom list are WARE-CMS, WARE-DOC, and WARE-
FST.( In Mac : On the Excel menu, click Preferences, and then
under Formulas and Lists, click Custom Lists . Click Add.
Type the values for your list in the order that you want them
sorted, with a comma between each value. When you are
finished, click Add, and then close the Custom Lists box.) (using

b. Sort "demand" from a largest to smallest value.
c. Sort by the" demand" values from a smalest to largest AND the "last name" A to Z
d. Filter the top 5 "stocks" largest values.
e. Filter the top 5 "stocks" largest values "AND" Then demand more than 100 articles.
f. Based on the first name , show only "green values " (using Filter by color ).
