Configuring the Virtual Machines

1. Download the VMWare Workstation Pro.


Note: You can download the latest version of VMware Workstation Pro from
https://www.vmware.com/in/products/workstation-pro/workstation-pro-evaluation.
html
2. VMware Workstation Pro initializes; in the installation wizard, click Next.
3. Accept the user agreement and click Next.
4. In the Custom Setup wizard, check the Enhanced Keyboard Driver option and click Next.
5. Follow the wizard-driven installation steps to install VMware Workstation Pro using the
default settings.

6. On completion of the installation, the machine will restart.


7. Once the machine has rebooted, launch VMware Workstation Pro.
Configuring the Network of VMWare
Workstation Pro

1. Launch VMware Workstation Pro.


2. Navigate to Edit and click Virtual Network Editor... as shown in the screenshot below.

3. The Virtual Network Editor window appears; choose the VMnet8 NAT network and click
Change Settings from the lower-right section of the window.
4. In the Virtual Network Editor window, select VMnet8 again in the lower section of the
window, define Subnet IP as 10.10.1.0 and Subnet mask as 255.255.255.0, and click
NAT Settings....
5. The NAT Settings window appears; enter 10.10.1.2 as the Gateway IP and click OK.
6. Now, keep VMnet8 selected and click DHCP Settings....
7. In the DHCP Settings window, define the Starting IP address as 10.10.1.3 and the
ending IP address as 10.10.1.254. Click OK.
8. Click Apply and OK in the Virtual Network Editor window to complete the configuration.

Downloading the machines from the


Drive

1. Open the drive link given.

2. Download all the VMs given in the drive.
3. Now, navigate to the downloaded folder.
4. Open the Windows Server 2019 VM folder.
5. Click on Windows Server 2019.vmx file.
6. You will be able to see the VM in the VMWare Workstation Pro

7. Do this for all other machines and you are done.


8. You will see all the machines in the library of the VMWare Workstation Pro.

Configuring the Network inside the


machines

1. Open the Windows 11 VM.


2. Search for the Control Panel in Windows Search and click Open.

3. Navigate to the Network and Internet>Network and Sharing Center.


4. Click on Change Adapter Settings.
5. A new window will appear. Right click on the Ethernet0 icon and select properties.
6. Double click on the Internet Protocol Version 4.

7. A new window will appear. Enable the “Use the following Settings” and enter the IP
address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway and Preferred DNS Server as shown in the
screenshot below.
8. Do the same for Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2022 VMs.
9. Open the Parrot Security VM.
10. Click on Menu and Select Control Center.
11. Click on Advance Network Configuration.

12. Under Ethernet, double click on the Wired Connection 1.


13. A new window will appear. Select IPv4 settings. Click on Add and add the IP address,
Netmask, Gateway and DNS Server details as in the image below and click Save.

14. Now open the Android VM.


15. Go to Settings and navigate to Wi-Fi.
16. Click on “Add Network”

17. Enter the SSID Name. Then click on “Advance Options”. Then under IP settings choose
static and give the details as in the screenshot below and click on the Save button.
