JAM : JUST A MINUTE (2nd floor reading room)

Here's a descriptive rule book for the "Just A Minute" (JAM) game:

Objective:
The objective of the game is for participants to speak on a given topic for one minute without
hesitation, repetition, or deviation from the topic.

Gameplay:

1. Topic Selection:
- Before the game begins, a list of topics or prompts should be prepared.
- One player acts as the "topic master" and selects a topic from the list.

2. One-Minute Timer:
- The topic master starts the one-minute timer as soon as the speaker begins to talk.

3. Speaking Rules:

- The speaker must talk about the selected topic for one minute.

-1. Hesitation:
- Hesitation refers to a noticeable pause or delay in speaking.
- Participants must maintain a continuous flow of speech without extended pauses.
- Pauses for a few seconds or less are generally acceptable, but any significant pause can be
challenged.

2. Repetition:
- Repetition involves saying the same word or phrase multiple times within the one-minute
speech.
- Avoid repeating words or phrases unnecessarily.

3. Deviation:
- Deviation means straying from the chosen topic.
- Participants must stick to the subject matter and avoid discussing unrelated topics.

4. Winning:
- The game can be played for a set number of rounds or until a certain point limit is reached.
- The player with the most points at the end of the game is declared the winner.

Cookie Face: Place a cookie on your forehead and, using only your facial muscles, try to get it
into your mouth in under a minute

Balloon Pop: Blow up balloons and try to pop as many as possible by sitting on them or using
other creative methods within the time limit.
Water Bottle Flip: Attempt to successfully flip a partially filled water bottle to land upright within
one minute

Pictionary- Choose a Pictionary word or phrase.Set a timer for one minute.Start drawing the
word or phrase on paper or a whiteboard.Others try to guess what you're drawing within the one-
minute time frame. FOR PICTIONARY THE CELL VOLUNTEERS AND HOST WILL BE THE ONE
TRYING TO GUESS THE WORD WHEREAS THE THE PARTICIPANT will be responsible for drawing
with accuracy and making the host guess the word

Only these four games will be mentioned in the chits

Note - For the games for Baloon pop and water bottle flip will be setting targets and will inform it
on spot during the event
1 Min to win ( READING ROOM 2nd FLOOR)

• Objective: The objective of the game is to complete a specific challenge or task within 1
minute.

• Timer: Use a timer or stopwatch to countdown the 1-minute duration for each challenge.

• Challenges: Draw of lots will be yhere there are three games.A pot will co multiple chits which
will have names of the game you will have to choose one and whatever game you get you have
to perform within 1 min

It an individual game. 4 people at a time will be sent and they have to choose a chit and have to
perform the respective game

SNAKES AND LADDERS (COMMON ROOM 2nd FLOOR)



● Before the game can start each player will roll one die, the player who throws the die with
6 will be the one to have the first turn.
● Each player will stand on the space that says 'start here'.
● Take it in turns to roll the dice. Move forward the number of spaces shown on the dice.
● If you land at the bottom of a ladder, you can move up to the top of the ladder.
● If you land on the head of a snake, you must slide down to the bottom of the snake.
● The first player that reaches the highest space on the board, 100, wins the game. To win
the player will need to roll the exact number to get you to the last space. If the player rolls
a higher number than needed to land exactly on 100, they can't move and remains there
until their next turn, when they can roll again.

LEMON AND SPOON ( 2nd floor coridoor)


Objective:
The objective of the game is for each pair of partners to successfully complete a relay race while
carrying a lemon on a spoon together without dropping it.

Materials:
Lemons (one for each pair)
Spoons (one for each pair)
A designated race course with a starting line, a mid way marker and a finish line.
A designated race course with a starting line, a mid way marker and a finish line.

Rules:

Participants have to take part in a pair of two.

Participants must place the lemon on the backside of their spoon (the concave side) and
hold the spoon's handle with their mouth. They cannot use their hands to hold the lemon
or spoon during the race.

Player A will start running from the starting line during which they will balance the spoon
with the lemon and than on the 2nd marker transfer the lemon to the other player’s spoon
without using hands and the 2nd player has to reach the finish line.

If the lemon falls, they place it again and start the game from the beginning. The pair
reaching the finish line first is declared the winner.

The respective positions are given based on the arriving time of the players towards
the finishing line.

ESCAPE ROOM ( DINING ROOM 2nd FLOOR)

Objective:- The primary goal of the game is to solve a series of puzzles and mysteries to escape
from the room within the 6-minute time limit.

GAME RULES

The game has a maximum duration of 6 minutes.

A minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 6 players are allowed in each team.

No electronic devices are allowed during the game. This includes smartphones,
smartwatches, tablets, and any other electronic gadgets. Keep them in a designated area
outside the escape room.

Clues and hints are provided within the room to assist your team in solving puzzles.

Most importantly, have fun, be creative, and enjoy the challenge!Remember, the Escape Room
Challenge is all about teamwork, problem-solving, and having a memorable adventure. Good
luck, and may the best team escape!

Have Fun: The most important rule is to have fun! These games are meant to be lighthearted and
entertaining
