• Slope for particle size 40 micron will give the combined
resistance
• Calculate the gas absorption resistance for any one data
set, typically it is independent of the particle size
• Use the same absorption resistance to calculate the
combined resistance for particle size of 80 micron
• Check the ratio of combined resistance, if same as particle
diameters then the internal diffusion resistance is controlling
