1 Clamping Unit setup


1.1.1 Mold Closing and mold Protection

Purpose: Optimum productivity mold closing should be executed as fast as possible. However, to avoid
damage to the mold and machine it is important to use correct setting.

Setting procedure:

Press F2 (Switch the HMI display to the Clamp Settings screen by pressing F2 (Clamp))

1.1.2 Mold Opening


After setting all mold opening parameters execute mold opening in Manual Mode to check for optimum
machine performance. If you encounter any problems during the mold opening adjustment press the
Manual key for an emergency reset to stop the operation.

1.1.3 Ejector

Function: knock the finished product out of the mold at the end of mold opening.

Having 3 modes: Hold, Count number mode, Vibration mode

Hold: The ejector moves forward according to the ejector settings and the product is dropped or taken
out.

In count number mode: the ejector is activated according to the Ejector and Ejection Count settings. This
mode is usually used for automatic machine operation. It does not require the opening and closing of
the safety door to continue the production cycle

How to switch: F5->F3


1.1.4 Core

Depending on your setup your machine may be equipped with up to 6 cores (A, B C, D, E and F). Each
core is controlled separately. When setting up the core(s), you need pay close attention to make sure
the settings will not cause damage to the core(s) and/or the mold. Since the cores are freely
programmable it is impossible for the controller to prevent all possible settings errors.
