Brigada Eskwela Kick Off

Emcee : To everyone who’s with us today! Good morning everyone I would like to
welcome you to the 2024-2025 BRIGADA ESKWELA KICK-OFF WITH A THEME
““Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan” is again the theme for this year’s activity,
according to DepEd Memorandum No. 33-2024 . Don Fernando Jacinto Elementary
School is an institution that is in charge of shaping elementary learners into responsible
members of our society. This is where one is molded into a better person, one who will
symbolize the different ways of learning center in which he was nurtured.
-Indeed, despite many obstacles brought by economic struggles of each family members
in our society nowadays, BE
promotes and prioritize preparations and strengthening the engagement and
collaboration with our stakeholders to ensure that quality education continues.

-To start with, let us proudly rise, to show our nationalism, as we sing the Philippine
National Anthem, which will be immediately followed by an Opening Prayer and please
remain standing for the singing of Villanueva Hymn.

-To formally welcome us for this event, may we have our kind and enthusiastic, Master
Teacher 1, Maam Norielyn C. Dela Cruz.
- Thank you very much for that heart-warming welcome message, Ma’am. And at this
moment, let us hear the Acknowledgement of Participants to be given by our School-In-
Charge, Teacher- II, Ma’am Vanessa Laureana A. Menoc.

-Thank you Maam Star,, at this juncture, in belalf of Maam MJ, who is in Manila right now
for emergency reasons, May I read to you the BRIGADA ESKWELA STATEMENT OF

- At this juncture, help me welcome our Beloved Barangay Captain, Hon. Robert B. Cabrera for another
inspirational message., I already can feel that our Brigada Eskwela will be a success.
- Guys, we are thankful and blessed for the overflowing patronage of our stakeholders.
- Thank you so much Cap. For that very substantial message from you
- Moving forward, it is an honor to have here with us our DFJES Alumni President, Mr. Benboy
Dablio Baguin to lead us on the Pledge of Commitment.
- Thank you so much Boy for leading the pledge of commitment. I am sure everyone will be ready
enough to carry on with this activity.

small, yet adorable school.!

- To our hardworking school head, Maam Mary Jane C. Birondo, who is not here with us today due to emergency
cases, but in leau (loo) of her we have Maam Star Menoc , our SIC, our MT-!!, Maam Noreilyn Dela Cruz,

- Today we are gathered here to participate in what we call the modern bayanihan which is the Brigada Eskwela
2024 with the theme : ““Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan. It aims to bring together all education
stakeholders to participate and contribute their time, effort, and resources to prepare public school’s facilities
for the opening of the school year this month.
- To start the program, let us all stand for the singing of the National Anthem, and to be followed by Doxology
through an Audio-Visual presentation.

Somehow you are wondering why you are here. Nag-unsa ta dire?
Today is the first day of our Brigada Eskwela at the same time our
Brigada Eskwela Kick Off with the theme “ Bayanihan para sa Matatag na
Paaralan “. Kaya tara na, magbrigada na tayo!” pursuant to Deped Order
No. 21, s. 2024
024 Brigada Eskwela Division Kick-Off Ceremony
Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 003, s.2024 entitled Amendment to DepEd
Order No. 022, s.2023 (Implementing Guidelines on the School Calendar
and Activities for the School Year 2023-2024), all public elementary and
secondary schools shall implement Brigada Eskwela on July 22, 2024
(Monday) to July 27, 2024 (Saturday) with the theme "Bayanihan Para sa
MATATAG na Paaralan".
The BE Implementing guidelines, to guide schools on sustaining
partnership engagement and ensure its alignment with the components
of the MATATAG Agenda. According to our Deped Secretary, who is now
Sen. Edgardo Angara, the one who took place the former DepEd
Secretary, Brigada Eskwela, or the National Maintenance Week, is simpler
this year. “ It is just making our schools functional, clean, and orderly,
inside and outside the classrooms and within school sites, he stated.
Beginning today, July 22, 2024 ,the BE will be conducted. The advocacy
program is meant to convince more local governments, communities,
businesses, non-governmental organizations, (NGO’s), and other local
and national partners to support the implementation of the BE, and
contribute to adequately preparing public schools for the start of classes
on July 29. Oplan Balik Eskwela, or Enrollment, began on July 1 and will
run through until ________Based on Department Memo 32 s. 2024 signed
by Deped Undersecretary Nolasco Mempin, the conduct of enrollment in
public and elem. And secondary schools, including community learning
centers, is from July 3 – July 26, 2024.
. Although the Brigada Eskwela is an annual celebration for us, the
obligation lasts the entire academic year. The BE this year emphasized
the nation’s volunteer actions to build the resilience of schools and basic
education, as well s to maintain a clean, safe, inclusive and child-friendly
learning environment for students and teaching ang non-teaching
professionals . In order to stress the actual spirit of volunteerism for this
year’s BE, the Deparment will no longer host competitions for the Best
Implementing School Awards, Hall of Fame Awards,, and Brigada Plus at
the national level. The partners and stakeholders who took part in BE
may still receive recognition from schools, districts, and divisions.
If you would like to give or donate resources for the improvement of our
