    Technical Datasheet

    Polyprint L-2004

    High viscous thickener for direct printing on cellulosic fibres with reactive dyes, based on pure sodium alginate.
    As sodium alginate is a naturally biodegradable polymer, the thickener is most ecological in use for reactive printing.
    This high viscous grade provides good surface levelness, as well as good penetration, high colour yield and good washability.

    Dosage For direct print we recommend to use 25 – 30 g/kg (2.5 – 3.0%) in the print paste.
    (600 - 700 g of a 4.0% stock solution of Polyprint L-2004 per kg print paste). If the thickener is used in
    combination with liquid synthetic thickeners, we recommend to use 15 – 20 g/kg (1.5 – 2.0%)
    Polyprint L-2004 together with 10 – 20 g/kg liquid synthetic thickener.
