ABSTRACT

Topic Name :- Location based garbage management app


for Smartcity : CleanCity

The idea of this project is to introduce a location-based


garbage management system using android as a platform.
Daily or weekly garbage trucks make their way through the
city, but they do not cover every neighborhood, as well as
wasting city resources. The Android application will serve
as a GUI for monitoring garbage status. With the help of
GPS, the location of the bin will be pinpointed. The idea to
develop this product came from observing the current
levels of pollution and the inefficient system to manage it.
It has been developed in the form of a responsive android
and web application. We are proposing a fully functional
software for efficient garbage management in this project.
