1) Column Chart
To create a column chart in Microsoft Excel, we can:
1. Enter data in a spreadsheet
2. Select the data
3. Click the Insert tab
4. Click Insert Column or Bar Chart
5. Choose a column chart option
We can also customize the chart by:
Changing the layout: Select Charts Layout on the Chart Design tab
Changing the style: Select Chart Styles on the Chart Design tab
Changing the shape style: Select Shape Styles on the Format tab
Adding a title: Click Chart Title
Changing the color: Change the column, background, or text color
Changing the font: Change the font type, size, or emphasis
2) Pie Chart
We create a pie chart in Microsoft Excel, you can:
1. Select the data to use for the chart in your spreadsheet
2. Click the Insert tab
3. Select Insert Pie or Doughnut Chart
4. Choose the chart type you want
5. Click the chart to add finishing touches
We can customize your pie chart by:
Changing the color or style: Use the Chart Styles
Showing or hiding data: Use the Chart Filters
Showing, hiding, or formatting axis titles or data labels: Use the Chart Elements
3) Line Chart:
To create a line chart in Microsoft Excel, we can:
1. Select the data to plot in the chart
2. Click the Insert tab
3. Click Line
4. Choose a line chart style
We can also customize your line chart by:
Clicking the Chart Design tab to add chart elements, change the layout, or select a style
Clicking Quick Layout to choose from predefined chart element sets
Clicking Switch Row/Column or Select Data to change the data view.
