GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The course aims to develop listening and speaking skills, and strategies for effective communication in various situations

CONTENT STANDARDS The learner understands the nature and elements of oral communication in context.
The learners designs and performs effective controlled and uncontrolled oral communication activities based on

Speech Craft Seminar

The senior high grade 11 students are part of an event organizing committee tasked with conducting a "Speechcraft
Seminar" aimed at honing the public speaking skills of fellow students. The seminar will focus on showcasing various
types of speeches and their effectiveness in different contexts. With that, the students will prepare and deliver a 5–
minute speech of a chosen type to demonstrate its impact and relevance in communication. The rubric will be provided
to them before the presentation of their speech.
