II.Lesson Development
A. Presentation of Concepts
Activities:
a. Interactive Discussion – The teacher will throw questions to the students during the discussion to
explain the topic.
b. Tableau – The students will be divided into 5 groups; each group given a different communication
scenario that highlights cultural differences between individuals. They will present in front of the
class, demonstrating their assigned function through a creative tableau.
B. Broadening of Concept
In what ways do various forms of intercultural communication influence the way we send and
understand messages?
How do these different cultural contexts and communication styles affect our interpretation and
delivery of information?
How did grasping the intent of the communication contribute to that successful outcome?
What strategies can be employed to resolve conflicts or challenging situations that may arise
during public speaking engagements?
