DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS (BEEE 203)
Course Description
The laws of nature are expressed as differential equations. Scientists and engineers must know
how to model the world in terms of differential equations, and how to solve those equations
and interpret the solutions. This course focuses on linear differential equations and their
applications in science and engineering.
Course Objectives
On successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:
1. solve first order and Second Order Constant Coefficient Linear differential equation;
2. solve problems relating Fourier series;
3. solve differential equations using Laplace transforms; and

Pass Requirements
To pass this course, the student, apart from being punctual in class, must also, through his/her
group leader, submit all written group reports, and must obtain at least 50% of aggregate marks.
