What This Module Is About
Hello learners, electricity is what we work for to make it travel from
station to our house or to our client’s houses. We work for them with a work
plan so that we are able to prepare the right tools for every specific task. Can
you imagine a work without a plan? Do we think we can perform the task
properly when we use tools not intended for use? Are we safe if we do that? I
don’t think so, that is why through this module, you will learn to prepare proper
materials and tools based on a work plan to have a safe and effective output.

What’s In
Yes, wherever we are, we see people using electricity. The
path of electricity is being installed by electricians in order to produce
electric power in every houses and buildings. Installation could not be
performed without tools. Basically, these hand tools are the primary
things electricians always have. Even in residences, hand tools are
needed, is that right? That is why when we go to hardwares, general
merchandize stores and buildings, selling these electrical hand tools
mostly are visible.

The fact is, in installation and maintenance in electrical field or performing

any electrical works, these hand tools play a very important role. Can you still
remember your exploratory course on Electrical Installation and Maintenance?
Do you find it exciting? Which one of the topics you find exciting?

We have to be independent in knowing all these basic electrical hand

tools. There are power tools or hydraulic tools but we have to understand these
basic hand tools and how to hold these things because no matter how easy it is
to look if you do not hold it properly, these will cause you hard time to accomplish
a job.

What Is It

Hello ... how are you doing? Did you get what I am trying to show you?
Have you noticed a group of hand tools in electrician side or at their back and
some are placed in portable tool box? That’s right. What about a group of hand
tools?

That is correct. Hand tools involve many electrical services like basic
maintenance, inspection and installation both in residential and industrial
buildings. All those works are performed by a well-trained electrician who has
these basic hand tools on their side.

So, today we will learn all about the different hand tools. Are you ready?
As a future electrician, why do you need to determine the different types of
electrical hand tools?

The fact is that the structure of being an electrician does not focus on
tools but in installation and maintenance for client to have electrical power
supply. Electrician is not being asked what tools he is using during installation
but instead, the client simply asks what the things are needed in to have power
in their house.

Electrical hand tools are our partners in all fields of electrical jobs both
installation and maintenance. We must be excellent in handling and
knowing the different electrical hand tools because through its description,
we can determine what specific tool we need for a specific task, either
pulling, removing, slicing, splicing, etc.

7
installation and maintenance. We must be excellent in handling and knowing
the different electrical hand tools because through its description, we can
determine what specific tool we need for a specific task, either pulling,
removing, slicing, splicing, etc.

In order for our consumers to attain professional and responsible

service, start with learning about the most basic part of being an electrician
and that is learning the different electrical hand tools. You must know when it
is safe to use by looking at the task, the labeled areas, labeled tools, ampacity
and capacity because we might be just using a wrong tool for the job.

Basic Information about the Different Electrical Hand Tools

Electrical tools with pictures and how to handle or use these are
described in this post. We use a lot of tools in the electrical field. But this time,
we are going to see the most basic but very important electrical tools which
are usually used for electrical installation. These tools are:

1. Ball Peen Hammer

Cabahitphoto1976d

Cabahitphoto1976e

A ball-peen or ball pein hammer is called as a machinist's hammer

because it is often seen and used in metalworking. It is used for pounding
chisels, clapping nails and many more. It has two heads, one flat and the

8
other is half sphere and that they call it as the peen. To hold it is simply hold
firmly at the grip near the tip of the handle but never in the middle. When using
this tool, you may start with slow hitting with your palm position near middle
and if you desire to head harder, then place your palm near the end of the
gripping part as shown in the picture.

2. Electrician Pliers

Cabahitphoto1976f Cabahi tphoto1976g

Electrician’s pliers or combination pliers come with different purposes

which are to cut and shred wire, serve as a pliers, fold wire connectors, clamp
line threaded bolts and more. Electricians, however, sometimes use them in a
wrong way, just like using it as a hammer, bolt cutter, etc. This tool is used to
cut, straighten and bend wire, and also to twist wires together when making
splices. This is also used for gripping, twisting, bending and cutting wires and
cables.

When holding it, just grab the handle and in opening, the ring finger is
used to control the pliers depending on the size of wire to splice.

3. Electric Live Wire Tester

Cabahitphoto1976h
Cabahitphoto1976i

Electrical line tester or the neon screw driver or test pin tester - is also
known as voltage or current detector. This is a slotted crew driver with a
9
conductor on top of the handle to touch it when testing an outlet to confirm if it
is energized or not. To hold it, make sure the hand is inside or within the
insulated part and touch the top handle to confirm the line.

4. Long Nose Pliers

Cabahitphoto1976ia Cabahitphoto1976j

Long-nose pliers are a pair of pliers considered by long, conical jaws

of equal length. This tool is very effective to a very fine object or wire and also
effective in working a very limited space where splicing or gripping is
performed. The manner of holding is shown in the picture. It is the same as the
electrician pliers.

5. Wire Stripper

Cabahitphoto1976k Cabahitphoto1976l
c c

A wire stripper is a small, hand-held device used to strip the electrical

insulation from electric wires. A simple manual wire stripper is a pair of
contrasting blades like a cutter. The addition of a center slash makes it easier
to cut the insulation without cutting the wire. Hold it lightly and then slowly
tighten your griping and pull the stripper to remove the padding and left the
conductor free for splicing and ready to use.
10
6. Diagonal Cutting Pliers

Cabahitphoto1976m Cabahitphoto1976n

Diagonal plier are pliers intended for the cutting of wire. Some called it cutting
plier because of its primary purpose. The diagonal jaw blade also work for
peeling bigger wire with thick padding or insulation. The manner of holding it
as shown, is the same as handling the electrician plier or the combination plier.
7. Hack Saw

Cabahitphoto1976o

Hack saw - a saw with a straitened fine-toothed blade set in a casing, is for
cutting small metals like cutting Electrical metal tube of a small tin and this is
how we hold it. Grab the handle with your most comfortable and strongest
hand, then the other one at the top near edge of the case as shown in the
picture. Apply a force diagonally or slanting as shown in the yellow arrow, but
apply minimal force only enough to cut a metal for use.
11
8. Tube Cutter

Cabahitphoto1976p

Cabahitphoto1976q

Tube cutter is a hand tool containing a clutching device and three

sharp-edged wheels pushed by screw pressure knob that cut into the pipe
as the tool is revolved. To hold it simply hold the screw pressure knob or
they call it tightening handle with the curve opening upward for you to see
the mark intended to cut then slowly move clockwise or simply rotate slowly
then adjust the handle knob for blade to penetrate slowly until it cuts it in
balance.
9. Flat File

Cabahi tphoto1976r

Flat file - a file with two flat surfaces file - a steel hand tool with small
piercing teeth on one side of its surfaces; used for smoothing wood or metal
renditions and this is how we handle it. Simply apply enough force in the tip
part in the smooth surface by either your fingers or your palm to the flat pile
then push the handle toward one direction. For this picture, we push it to the
left.

Cabahitphoto1976x Cabahitphoto1976y
Spirit Level is a tool used to indicate how similar or balance or
vertical against the floor or to surface of referral. A spirit level gets its name
from the mineral spirit solution inside the levels. The manner of holding is
shown figure a. if you want diagonally balanced or if you want uniform diagonal
position to a material that you desire to install. b. if you want how vertically
straight are your post just like using a plumb bob when you let the metal bob
freely fall and wait until it stop moving. This ideal for balancing a post. c. how
horizontally level it is, if wish a straight position of a tube before you sealing it.
This also use when you want balance flooring.
When you travel the device, in as much as possible, hold at the center
in between glass, either in a single hand or both hands. Avoid holding the glass
part with a solution to keep the glass clear in every use. Figure d. and e. is
shown to understand it clearly.
13
Electrician’s Knife

Cabahitphoto1976a1 Cabahitphoto1976a2

Cabahitphoto1976a3 Cabahitphoto1976a4

An electrician’s knife is an insulated knife made to reduce the chance of an

electrical shock while doing some repair work like peeling off the wire
paddings. To hold it, avoid your hands on the metal part or you might get
electrocuted when working with live wire. But for normal situation like preparing
your wires for connection or splicing, the photos shown are applicable.
There are instances where we use this in cutting the wire. When you do such
action, it will make your knife dull. The design of this knife is designed to avoid
scratching the metal conductor. The slant of the blade is made to automatically
when the blade touches the conductor unlike a usual knife, you need to
reposition when it hits the metal part of a wire.
14
12. Pull Push Rule (Steel Measuring Tape)

Cabahitphoto1976a5 Cabahitphoto1976a6

Push pull rule definition - A pull push rule is a steel measuring tape that
coils into a compressed case. To hold it or handle it, look at the picture shown,
thumb finger is for the control to stop the rule depending on the item being
measured. Pull the tip of the tape when you start measuring and then let the
hook tip stays at the starting line of the object to be measure and apply a little
pressure enough to ensure that it does not leave the starting line or let your
fellow worker hold it, when measuring is finished, do not leave the steel roll
back to case because it can damage the device, use your hand in keeping the
tape back to the case and then lock it.

13. Screwdriver

Cabahitphoto1976a8

Cabahitpho to1976a7

Screwdriver is a tool used for fastening and loosening screws. A simple

screwdriver has a handle and a tube, ending in a slant, the user puts into the
screw head before turning the handle to tightening or loosen a screw.
Screwdrivers differ according to their slant tip and this are the

15
negative or minus type “-“or the slotted screwdriver, we usually call this as flat
screwdriver. The other one is the Philips screwdriver or often called star
screwdriver. There are also with short shaft and call it short stubby screwdriver.
To hold it, simply hold the handle firmly with your palm on the tip of the handle
to ensure total force in pushing screw depending on the force needed to control
the penetration to the screw head.

14. Electrician’s Belt

Cabahitphoto1976a9

Cabahitphoto1976a1

Cabahitphoto1976a11
Cabahitphoto1976a12

To keep commonly used tools within easy reach and use, wear it as if
wearing your belt but not so firm just as shown in this photo. This Electrician
tool belt is for electrician to have an easy access and continuous work flow
when performing electrical job in elevated area or in isolated area where tools
location is in a distance.

16
15. Mechanical Pliers

Cabahitphoto1976a13
1
Mechanical Pliers are used to hold objects firmly, possibly developed from
tongs used to handle hot metal. This arrangement creates a mechanical
advantage, allowing the force of the hand's grip to be amplified and focused
on an object with precision. They are also useful for bending and compressing
a wide range of materials The manner of holding it is shown in the picture. The
force of holding the item through this tools depend on your applied strength
towards the grip.

What’s In

Good Day! How was your experience in determining the different kinds
of electrical hand tools? Where you able to identify all the tools that you have
in your house? Do you know how to use them? Well done, now that you know
why it is called in that name is actually because of its purpose. You can be
expert in it if you keep on using them and surely you can perfectly familiarize
all those hand tools. You can probably help your fellows or neighbors or family
members in determining the item that they want when they describe it or define
it.
27

Hey, let me ask you, does your hand tool last long or just easily get
rusted and destroyed easily and you left wondering what cause it to damage.
Our parents bought it but then just left it anywhere and then what happens in
time of need, gone or damage? But still you insisted to use it and cause you
some injury.

What’s New

Definition of Terms

Corrosion - is a natural process that converts a refined metal into a more

chemically stable form such as oxide, hydroxide, or sulfide. It is the gradual
destruction of materials by chemical and/or electrochemical reaction with their
environment
Coolant - a liquid or gas that is used to remove heat from something
Contaminants - are defined as “substances (i.e. chemical elements and
compounds) or groups of substances that are toxic, persistent and liable to
bioaccumulate, and other substances or groups of substances which give rise
to an equivalent level of concern
Dust tight - Constructed so that dust will not enter the enclosing case under
specified test conditions
Friction - he resistance that one surface or object encounters when moving
over another
Functional tools and equipment - those that are in good condition and can
perform its regular functions
31
Lubricant - a substance introduced to lessen friction between moving
surfaces; also functions to transport external particle Polar solvents - solvents
which dissolve/are soluble in water
Sorting - to sort everything in a work area
Solvent - a component of a solution that dissolves solute and is usually
present in large proportion or amount
Threaded – a pass a thread through the eye of (a needle) or through the
needle and guides
Viscosity - the state of being thick, sticky, and semifluid in consistency, due
to internal friction
Hello learners, I have here an activity prepared for you to share your
experience.
28
Direction. In your activity notebook, tell your own story of your experience of
using a rusted and defective tool for a specific job or task. What
did you do? If you got injured, what cause it to happen? How
does it affect you and your task? Then, cite the importance of
using well cared tool for a specific task and how do you maintain
its effectiveness. Ask your family member about it.
,,

What Is It
Have you ever observed that many of these hand tools are being junk
because they find it ineffective? Have you ever worked hard when in fact the
work is not really hard but it becomes hard because of the hand tools being
worn out? Just like using a plier in removing insulators or cutting wires using
knife because you could not use the plier or even tighten a bold using a long
nose because you could not locate it. That will really harden your simple work.

The danger of not knowing or not using the proper tools for a specific
task will drain your energy and mostly likely, might drive you to an accident or
injury. Maintenance to every tool is just saying you are always important, it
maybe not now but in time, this hand tools will be realized and can be used
anytime and easily locate because it is being well cared and stored properly.

Today, you will learn how to maintain it to make it always effective

whenever you use it. Read the information below for your deeper
understanding.

32
Lubricant for Maintenance

What is lubricant? Why do we need this? Yes, indeed, the function of lubricant
is simple but contributed very much. It reduces friction between moving metal
surfaces. Lubricant coats surfaces and resists being displaced by the pressure
keeping the metal parts separated. Lubricants also prevent corrosion, block
contaminants and can serve as a coolant. Good lubricants do not leak out from
any pressure exerted to every moving metals.

Our electrical hand tools are mostly metals with rubber for insulation purpose
and lubrication system should always be part of it when we buy for any of the
tools. Some tools without this lubricant will become ineffective and most likely
will be damaged and that might cause you some injuries.

29
There are several types of lubricants:

1. Mineral Oil
A mineral oil is safe for hand tools to protect all the vital parts, the
blades, fulcrum, jaws and the gripping parts. That is right, mineral oil. Simply
use a clean cloth or rug and pour a little enough for the tools. Mineral oil
does not go rotten or corroded that is why it is very safe for cleaning the
hand tools. When you apply this for lubrication, make sure that the tools do
not have any unwanted brittles or dust. This is to avoid the cause of
roughness and abrasiveness because of this tiny particle. Wipe it dry and
free of water. Apply just enough to avoid dripping of oil because oil has a
very low viscosity. Example for this is the oil like Johnson’s oil.
2. Grease
Grease is also good for hand tool maintenance specially the parts
that often move or rolled out. Greases associate with some lubricating stuffs
of oils with added stickiness, which made the lubricant to keep to the
surfaces better. Greases can also be a barrier that guards the tool against
unwanted substance within the storage or in workplace. The only problem
with this grease is that, it can cause some friction to a small tool because it
is gummy in nature

33
3. Penetrating Lubricants

Cabahitphoto1976a23

Cabahitphoto1976a22

Penetrating lubricants are also called rust remover because it has the
ability to remove the corroded parts like long stuck bolt, debris that were not
loosen for a long time. This is very common to the hand tools especially when
we store them for a month or a year and when you use them, it stuck. This type
of lubricants work effectively. But unlike the grease and the oil, this does not
stay long because of a very low viscosity. But this has substances that are
specifically intended for one purpose and that is to intrude the tiny cracks
between surfaces. Your tool which you left anywhere will get rust because it is
exposed to many corrosive substance.
This penetrating lubricant will help. Spray it to the rusted part and about
10 seconds, try to move the joints, and if it’s hard, do it again. When it’s
already loosen, wipe the tool to remove the rust. Do not forget to dust-tight
lock the cover before you place it back to the storage.
If you cannot afford to buy such lubricant, you can make your own.
Just buy some vegetable oil and then an acetone. Mix 100ml of vegetable
oil and 10 to 11 ml of acetone and mix them well by just shaking it well and
then the mixture will work for your long stuck bolt or screws in a metal.
4. Dry lubricants

Cabahitphoto1976a24

34
This kind of lubricant is made up of lubricating compound elements
such as graphite, molybdenum disulfide, silicone. By nature, these are
super slippery that enables to reduce the friction between surfaces in
contact with one another which our hand tools have and these are very
common in a sprayer which evaporate right after use. This is very useful in
locks, hinges and threaded rods. We can use this if we have a small part
that should not be applied by oil or grease that attracts dust but when you
apply it, it should be water free.

1. Ball Peened Hammer can be maintained and cared when you use clean
protective end caps on Hammers when not in use. But we need to remove the
dirt using a fine brush in the heads prior to use because we must not allow the
dust to gather around the container. Do not throw protective end caps to the
ground but keep them in a clean place when not in use. Use a dry lubricant
and wipe it clean prior to placing it back to storage.

2. Electrician Pliers Combination plier is the hard working tool and

commonly used because of its multiple application that is why it should be
cared in every after work. The fulcrum, jaw and the blade should be cleaned
and brushed to remove the debris, dust, and even wet parts and dry up with a
cloth before applying a lubricant.

Cabahitphoto1976h

Cabahitphoto1976i

3. Electrical Line Tester is a tool that should always be dry and secured
away from any contaminants because his job touches electric power. Always
keep it dry and clean and store in a clean tool box or clean storage because if
there are contaminants, it can be dangerous because it can cause electric
shock.

4. Open / Close Wrench or Combination Wrench is a multi-purpose tool

with end for leverage and a firm grip around nuts and bolts
The wrench also called a spanner is the tool that is used to give a grip and
mechanical benefit in applying rotation to turn objects which are usually
rotary pins, such as nuts and bolts, to keep them from turning. Mineral oil is
best lubricant for this kind of tool because of the assembly which total metal.
Remember to always clean the claw and the ring with a brush to

33
ensure that it is free from contaminants prior to application of lubricants and
then store in a clean dry storage tool box.

5. Long-Nose Plier’s Maintenance has the same way in cleaning and

maintaining combination plier. We apply the mineral oil lubricant at the jaw and
the gripping teeth. For this tool make sure to brush the long jaw because there
37
will be tiny debris or rust powder left within. Take note, do not apply lubricant
to the handle in all the pliers.

6. Wire Stripper is used to strip and cut wire that is why it has to be
cleaned to maintain the wire stripping blade. Avoid cutting it directly to metal
conductor with large size. The blade part of this device is a knife intended for
cutting wire conductor but for small size only. Do not forget to lock the tool

34
every after use. This is to avoid hitting of the stripping jaw with tools that may
result to a dull stripping blade.

wet, dry them thorough lymto prevent them from rusting and getting dull. Store
them in a dry place where the bl ades and tip of the jaws won't get hit and
soothed. If possible, place it in a toolbox or in a pouch or electrician belt to
ensure it is immovable inside the storage

8. Hack saw used especially for cutting metal. Wipe the saw and clean
after each use and apply a fine hard brush in the blade part to free it from
debris and other tiny particles that may stick on the blades. Clean It dry, and
wrap the blade with the cover or if no cover, detach the blade from the frame
and store the blade saw separately away from being hit by other tools. Wipe
with mineral oil and dry it before storing.

9. Tube cutter should always be sharp especially when you cut metal tube,
it should maintain its sharpness to make the cut completely even. This device
has many rolling parts which should be free from rust powder or particles and
debris at all times for its effective performance. For this tool, we use a
penetrating lubricant first and then after drying it out, apply mineral oil and wipe
it clean dry before storing.

39
Cabahitphoto1976r
Cabahitphoto1976s Cabahitphoto1976t

10. Flat File smoothens a metal and a wood therefore it collects very fine
powder and some are stuck in the rough surface. For maintenance we must
clean your file's teeth with brush until it is clean and apply a penetrating
lubricants because of the very fine teeth and brush it to dry then apply a mineral
oil and wipe it dry clean before storing. This lubricant should prevent any waste
material from getting stuck in the file's teeth to make it effective always even
how many times it will be used

Cabahitphoto1976v Cabahitphoto1976w
Cabahitphoto1976u

11. Spirit level with a bubble as an indicator inside the liquid element. This
level is an instrument that should be treated as fragile. It is always best to store
spirit levels in a secure storage away from the elements and sharp tools. If the
material of the level is a wood and got wet during work, let it completely dry
out and do not use it when it is still wet. This is to help prevent deforming,
bulging and parting which will lead to inaccurate reading. Always keep it dry
and lubricant is actually needed except for the aluminum level, which a dry
lubricant is applicable and make sure to wipe it dry and avoid the lens or the
glass part when applying lubricants since this are chemical elements. If you
apply lubricant to this glass area, it will affect the clarity and most likely soften
the glass and make it more vulnerable, which easily breaks.

40

Cabahitphoto1976a2 Cabahitphoto1976a4

12. An electrician’s knife is designed to cut and peel off electrical

insulation, cables, wires, and more. Keep the blades dry and wipe fingerprints
and moisture off with a soft all cotton cloth every after use. Be careful when
you wipe since this is very sharp, you might get wounded. Lubricant is
particularly important to blades of high carbon steel to avoid it from corrosion.
Defilement is a normal property of carbon steel and cannot be avoided. Thus,
always apply mineral oil lubricant every after use to

37
maintain its durability. And secure the blade always to avoid it from becoming
dull.

Cabahitphoto1976a5 Cabahitphoto1976a6

13. Push Pull Rule is an instrument where we pull in an open space

bringing some element inside the case when keeping the ruler plates. To
maintain it, , pull all the steel string and then slowly return it back to the case
with a cloth with mineral oil lubricant after using it before storing back to tool
box or storage. It is never a good idea to let the tape measure blade lash back
into the case. Keep your tape measure clean and cool. Make sure to lock the
thumb lock to lock the tape measure blade for its security. The rolling part
inside the case which is the belt loop and the spring will be lubricated when

41
you apply mineral oil lubricants in the tape measure blade when keeping it
back to the blade loop.

Cabahitphoto1976a8
Cabahitphoto1976a7

38
14. Screwdriver is a tool that should be consistent in application for
screwing. Do not use a screwdriver as a punch, chunk, even chisel. Keep the
tip clean and sharp to badge a solid grip on the tip of the screw head. Keep
the handle of the screwdriver clean and integral to allow for a solid grip. Never
allow too much force in rotation that could damage the screw head and
probably could dull the tip of the screw. For insulated screw driver, apply dry
cloth and a foam to wipe the dirt in the handle and shaft and apply mineral oil
in the tip to avoid any form of corrosion. And for screw driver with metal shat,
ensure that oil is applied and dry clean before storing it.

Cabahitphoto1976x

15. Tool Belt is tearable material when not well maintained especially that
it carries almost all your hand tools when you work. To maintain is to avoid
hanging it outdoor but not isolated indoor instead with area where open air is
free to dry it when it is wet. When your sweat fills the belt, wash it after using
41
it because our sweat can be acidic when you leave it dry. After washing, have
it dry cleaned or dry it out without exposing it to the sun.

Cabahitphoto1976a29

Apply grease here

Cabahitphoto1976a28

39
16. Mechanical Pliers hold in almost all kinds of items, regardless of
whether they are round, square or with multi dimension that is why it can easily
get rusted and cause corrosion because it is pure metal but handle is covered
with rubber cloth for strong hold. The figure shows us the part which must be
applied with mineral oil for lubrication and should be cleaned because this is
where most of the particles stay when we use them. Use a brush and wipe
with a dry cloth, before applying grease for lubrication.
Cabahitphoto1976a23

with a clean dry

17. Vise-Grip Pliers have an innumerable number of uses beyond

removing damage screws and loosening stuck nuts. You can use them to
clamp small things in place, to remove stripped or broken screws. To maintain
this tool and work effectively for a long period, clean the pliers after every use
with a clean, dry cloth to prevent the locking grip becoming blocked with debris
and apply oil lubricant. A dry lubricant is good for all turning parts especially
the screw in the tip of the handle, and spring and the releasing handle screw.
Putting penetrating lubricant to inner joints and knots is also applicable but to
42
complete the maintenance, close the jaw always after applying lubricants in all
parts, and make sure the cloth is not water wet. Then store it to a toolbox or
tool storage room for easy access when needed at any time.

Summary

The most important thing in maintenance of your hand tools is how do

we keep them effective and attain long life even when we regularly use them.
This is by regular application of proper lubricants and religiously apply good
handling through proper maintenance. When you treat it with the proper care,
it will provide you with accurate, reliable measurements and results. Take care
of your tools, and it will take care of you.

A hand tool is any tool that is powered by hand rather than a motor.
Categories of hand tools include wrenches, pliers, and cutters, files, striking
tools, struck or hammered tools, screwdrivers, vises, clamps, snips, saws,
drills and knives. All of them are effective if they are used according to its
purpose to make the work lighter.

The technical meaning of maintenance involves regular checking every

after using it and importantly before using it, always check its functional
capability to avoid hindrance during work. You can always be safe if you use it
correctly and store it properly or if it is clean and looks new and effective.

Preventive maintenance is what we best describe when you perform

regular check of your tools before and after using them. Religiously lubricate
and handle it well so that it does not break down unexpectedly. This time, you
are now capable of identifying different hand tools and correct use and proper
maintenance
