The pattern is written in English using US

crochet terminology. Instructions are easy to


follow if you are familiar with basic crochet
techniques.
Materials:

“Gingerbread ornaments” • 2.5 mm hook


• Cotton yarn
I used Scheepjes Catona:
white (106, you need 64 gr), topaz (179, you need

• Brown, pink embroidery thread
• Safety eyes 6.00 mm
• Stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker
I used black thread

The toys are approximately 14-16 cm height. It


may vary though depending on the kind of yarn
and hook size used.
You can also use any color of yarn.
Feel free to add accessories to your very own
Christmas Gingerbread Ornaments.

Now we are going to connect two pieces


together.
Lay the two pieces together so that the
wrong side of each piece will be outside (fig
9). Insert the hook in the top stitch of each
piece (you can choose any top stitch of the five), 14
pick up the yarn and pull it through (fig 10-
12). Make a combination (chain 1 + sc in this
stitch (top stitch (fig 13)), slst in next 15 st),
repeat it 5 times ( fig 14, 16).

Using the white yarn, embroider a main line


from magic ring to the top (fig 17, 18). Make 21
a small line from the main line on the right
and left side (fig 19). Then, insert your
needle 3 stitches below and embroider one
petal on the right and left side (fig 20-21).
