NOTIFICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO POST GRADUATE MEDICAL DEGREE/
DIPLOMA COURSES UNDER COMPETENT AUTHORITY QUOTA FOR 2024-25
Applications online are invited from NEET-PG-2024 qualified candidates for
admission into the Post Graduate Medical Degree / Diploma courses for the academic year
2024-25 under Competent Authority Quota into Medical Colleges affiliated to KNR University
of Health Sciences and NIZAM's Institute of Medical Sciences, (NIMS) Hyderabad in the State
of Telangana.

Notification is issued for online registration for web-based counseling to determine

State Merit position for admission into Competent Authority Quota seats only. Provisional
Final Merit list will be notified after scrutiny of all certificates uploaded at the time of online
registration. Total number of seats available under Competent Authority Quota for the
academic year 2024-25 will be notified on KNRUHS website before exercising web
options for counseling. Tuition fee payable will be as notified by the Government of
Telangana.

Cut-off score in NEET-PG-2024 Exam for Post Graduate Medical courses:

Candidates should have secured the following cutoff score or above inNEET- PG-2024

Provisional Final Merit position of the applied candidates will be prepared based on NEET-
PG–2024 Rank and other eligibility criteria notified hereunder.
1. ELIGIBILITY:

A. ELIGIBILITY:
(as per G.O. Ms. No. 148 HM&FW(C1) Dept., dated 28-10-2024)
i. A Candidate to be eligible for Admission into PG Medical Courses under
these Rules should be an Indian National/Person of Indian Origin/Overseas
Citizen of India card holder and be a local candidate:

ii. Local candidate means a candidate who has studied in the Educational
Institutions in the state of Telangana as for a period of not less than four
consecutive years ending with the academic year in which he appeared or
as the case may be, first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination
subject to

Explanation (a): A candidate who is regarded as a local candidate for the

purpose of Admission into Undergraduate (MBBS) in the state of Telangana,
but has studied in a State wide Institutions outside the state of Telangana,
shall also be regarded as a Local candidate.

Explanation (b): A candidate, who has secured Admission to the relevant

Undergraduate course (MBBS) under Non-Local Quota in the State of
Telangana, shall not be regarded as Local candidate.

B. Candidate should have qualified in NEET-PG-2024 by securing marks of Cut-off

score or above as displayed above.
C. Candidate should have passed MBBS/ Equivalent Degree examination from a
Medical Institution in Telangana State/Siddartha Medical College, Vijayawada
recognized by the National Medical Commission.
D. Candidates who hold recognized Medical Degree should have obtained Permanent
Registration from State Medical Council after completing compulsory rotating
internship.
E. MBBS Graduates should have completed internship on or before 31-08-2024
from recognized Medical Colleges (by MCI/NMC).
F. In case of in-service candidates, Government service rendered shall be calculated
as on 30-09-2024
G. Candidates from other states are not eligible for Competent Authority Quota.
2. The NEET-PG-2024 qualified and eligible candidates as per concerned regulations who
desire to take admission into PG Medical Degree/Diploma Courses shall apply online and
upload all original certificates for determining the Merit position for Telangana State
Competent Authority Quota using NEET-PG-2024 Ranks in the Website
https://tspgmed.tsche.in from 06.00 AM 31-10-2024 to 06.00 PM on 07-11-2024 only only.
The online application can be filled through any computer with internet connection or
mobile with data connection. (NOTE: PREFERBLY DESKTOP OR LAPTOP)

3. Registration and processing Fee for PG Degree/Diploma courses:- The Registration

and processing fee of Rs.5500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) is for OC & BC
candidates and Rs.5000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST candidates. The fee
shall be paid online through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.**

** Registration and processing fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further
date.

** Candidates are advised to check their eligibility to apply for determining the Merit
position in respective categories by using NEET-PG-2024 Rank by reading Prospectus
/Regulations carefully.

5. Procedure of filling online application, scanning / uploading of original certificates

and online payment for registration
i). The registration and processing fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or
Net Banking

ii). The registration and processing fee paid by the applicants is not refundable under
any circumstances.

iii). The following documents are required:

(a) Passport size photo

(b) Admit Card and Rank Card NEET–PG- 2024

(c) Original / Provisional Degree Certificate

(d) Aadhar Card

 (e) Study Certificate(s) from 1st MBBS to Final MBBS.

(f) Study certificates from 6th class to Intermediate /12th standard.

(g) Latest Category Certificate in case of BC/SC/ST candidates issued by
Competent Authority of Government of Telangana (If applicable).
(h) Minority Certificate issued by Competent Authority of Government of
Telangana, if applicable.
(i) Latest Service Certificate issued by the concerned Head of the
Department, if applicable (issued after 01-10-2024 by DME/DH/Director
ESI/ Commissioner VVP/ MD Singareni Collieries and other Competent
Authority as notified by Government).
(j) Internship Completion Certificate/ To be completed by 31-08-2024
(k) Permanent Medical Council Registration Certificate.
(l) Post Graduate Medical Diploma Certificate, if applicable
(m) Photo Identity proof (Aadhar).

iv). Visit website through Computer with Internet connection to fill the applicationform.
v). Fill in all the details in the online application form and upload all the documents
which are mandatory.
vi). The candidates who claim for admission under Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
category shall mention in the online application as applying under PWD category
and have to appear before a Medical Board constituted for the purpose by the
University as per the schedule to be notified by the University for Eligibility under
PWD status.

6. Procedure for submission of filled-in online Application form and Original certificates for
PG Medical Courses at the time of admission for final verification:-

The candidate should submit the print-out of the filled-in Online application form and
original certificates along with (1) set of self attested copies to the Principal of allotted
college at the time of joining for final verification. In case of any discrepancy, the
provisional allotment order will be cancelled.

7. a) On-line application form without uploading mandatory Certificates, Passport

size photo, without signature at declaration area, incomplete applications will
be automatically rejected.

b) The mere fact that the Merit position issued to the candidate does not imply that the
candidature is accepted by the University and it does not mean that the entries made
by the candidate in the online application are accepted as true and correct.
 c) Candidates may please note that the University will take up the verification of
certificates with regard to eligibility conditions i.e., Educational Qualifications,
validity of Registration with State Medical Council, Internship certificate, Local
area status, Category status as per uploaded relevant certificates by the concerned
department officials. If the information furnished by the candidate in the application
is not correct, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled and further action that
deems fit will be taken.

d) Candidates eligibility for admission into PG courses for the academic year 2024-25
will be examined by the University only after scrutiny of application along with all
copies of required certificates and provisional final merit list will be notified.

e) Registration along with uploading of Scanned Original certificates will be done only
once irrespective of the number of times of exercising web options / Number of
counselings. No separate notification will be issued for verification of original
certificates. Therefore the candidates should register and upload all the mandatory
Certificates without fail.
f) Scrutiny of uploaded Original Certificates shall be done by the University and
concerned departmental officials. After scrutiny of application and certificates final
merit list will be released. Candidates are advised to refer to KNRUHS website for
further details regarding schedule of exercising web options.

g) Admissions will be in accordance with the Orders issued from time to time by State
Government with regard to process of Admissions to Post Graduate Medical Courses
and relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court and Hon’ble High Court orders.

h) The procedure for preparation of seat matrix and selection into PG broad specialty in
the Competent Authority Quota and seat allocation will be done as per the procedure
given in G.O.Ms.No.155, HM&FW (C1) Dept, Dated:18-11-2021, G.O.Ms.No.73
HM&FW (C1) Department, Dated:03-07-2023, G.O.Ms.No.148, HM&FW (C1) Dept,
Dated: 28-10-2024 relevant Government orders, subsequent amendments and
relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court and Hon’ble High Court orders.

8. This notification is for determining the State Merit position in respective categories
using NEET–PG -2024 Rank only. The dates for exercising web options for admission
into PG (MD/MS/Diploma) courses will be notified separately on University website.
Candidates are advised to check the University web-site for notifications, schedules
and other details from time to time.
9. An in-eligible candidate obtaining Merit position does not make the candidate eligible
for admission.

10. Admission will be considered only for candidates, who have secured marks above
cutoff score in NEET-PG-2024 exam and based on the state merit position as the
case may be.
