About Us: Our MIS and Data Team plays a crucial role in harnessing the power of data to drive informed decision-making and optimize business processes. We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team and contribute to the bank's data-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: 1.Data Analysis and Modeling: •Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights. •Develop and maintain predictive models to enhance - customer segmentation and behavior
•Conduct thorough evaluations of model performance and implement optimization
strategies as needed. •Stay abreast of emerging methodologies and technologies to continuously improve predictive modeling techniques.
2.Data Integration and Cleansing:
•Collaborate with data engineers to ensure the seamless integration of diverse data sources. •Implement data cleansing processes to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the data. 3.Dashboard and Report Development: •Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and trends. •Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights. 4.Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: •Partner with IT, risk management, and business intelligence teams to ensure alignment of data science initiatives with overall business goals. •Provide support and insights to other departments leveraging data-driven decision-making.
5.Qualifications: •Bachelor degree or Master's in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related disciplines. •Proven experience in data science and analytics, preferably in the banking or financial industry. • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python or R, and familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries. • Strong of, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques (preferably understanding machine learning algorithms). • Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders. • Familiarity with banking data systems and knowledge of financial products and services.
