country.
Because
- Prestigious English centers typically have a reputation for high-quality teaching.
They often employ experienced instructors who are skilled in teaching English as a
second language
- English centers usually offer structured courses that cover all aspects of language
learning, including grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Learning in a classroom setting allows for interaction with both the instructor and
other students
On the other hand, I don’t choose register for a short-term English course of about 6-
12 months abroad. It's very good for learning English but I think its cost will be quite
high and not suitable for me.Buying courses from English learning websites or apps
can save money but will not give you the opportunity to practice communication.

- Well, to be honest. If I want to improve my English, I will choose to take up English
courses at prestigious English centers in my country. I think that it is more suitable
than the other option, just because
.+ The first, at prestigious English centers provide me with diverse courses with
different levels so I can be flexible to choose to meet my level proficiency and
demands.
+ Next, if I learn in English center, I will not only get a good syllabus, good quality
but also flexible schedules.The final, because English center is located in my country
so it is easy to go to the center to learn.
- For option 1, registering for a short-term English course about 6-12months in
foreign countries. Although I can approach many people so I can speak English more
fluently and my pronunciation can improve quickly. However,, high tuition fee and
daily expenses when studying abroad and the important thing is that I don’t wanna
live away from family
.- Purchasing courses from popular English learning websites or applications. I never
used to think this option because, firstly I think it’s more suitable for a highly self
conscious person, not me And I see that some good website require high
fee.Therefore, taking up English courses at prestigious English centers in the country
is my best choice.

job positions and received some offers from employers. You are considering
which option would be the great job offer.There are three options:
1. A stable job with upper income, but you must work for night shifts or holidays
2. A favorite job with middle income, but you usually have business travels.

3 A desk job with lower income, but you only work for 4 days a week.
If I need to find a good job to do when I just graduated from university and I received
some offers from employers I would like to do a desk job with lower income, but I
only work for 4 days a week. I choose it because:
Firstly, working in a desk job only 4 days a week doesn’t under pressure like O1and
O2. It makes me feel more relaxed and comfortable. It helps me spend more time with
family and friends. Finally, In my free time, I learn something to prepare for my
future career or run my own business to better my finances. I plan to open a bakery in
the future besides learning how to bake, learning how to manage my store. I can learn
more skills, learning photography, and editing videos. I don’t choose O1 because
Although this is a job with a high salary, however it's very stressful and because of the
night shift it will be bad for my health. I don’t choose O2 because traveling for
business is tiring and don’t have much time to take care of myself and my family. The
salary isn’t too high, so it's difficult to achieve financial freedom.=>So some reasons
make me choose a desk job with lower income, but I only work for 4 days a week
Situation 4: You are going on a holiday and stay for three nights in a tourist
destination.You are considering which option would be a great place for staying
There are three option:
1. A spare room in a local person’s house
2. A privately rented apartment with full facilities
3.A hotel or motel room

Well, if I am going on holiday and stay for three nights, I will choose to rent
a hotel or motel room. I have some reason for my choice.Firstly, I can get a good service
and high quality. Normally, the hotel will accept bookings rooms on their website so I can
avoid the case that there are no rooms available when.
In big hotels, besides the room rental service, there is also a gym, spa, book room,k,s
wimming pool to serve tourists and the hotel will serve the meals for you.Secondly,
it’s safe when staying a hotel, because. All hotel has security guards and are equipped
with cameras and fire protection system. This makes you feel safe, especially,when
you travel alone I don’t choose to spare room in a local person’s house. Because I feel
lack of freedom and comfortable. there are general rules of the owners, for instance,
you are limited time for entry and exit the house, not allow using something don’t
c hoose to rent a apartment with full facilities because i must myself
se rve d . Because there is no service staff at apartment like in hotels so Firstly, I have
to carry my luggage to my room, secondly, I will have to cook for my meals if I don’t
eat outside and clean the room. I travel to enjoy, to take a break from work and
study so I don’t like doing that.
Situation 5: You are going to make a surprise for your mom and that’s is her 60th
birthday. You are looking for a nice gift for this special occasion.There are three
options:
1. A ticket to music live show
2. A warn party at her favorite restaurant
3. A handmade birthday cake I imagine,
If I am going to organize a birthday party for my mother, I will make a handmade
birthday cake because of following reason.Firstly, a handmade birthday cake is the
most meaning gift and it is unique in the world, because it’s filled with my love for
my mom, it helps me show my sincerity and caring. A handmade birthday cake can
make a big surprise for her. Secondly, I can afford to make it. Because the cost of to
make ingredients a cake is not as expensive as buying a ticket to music or eating at a
restaurant. I only need to buy some eggs, all purpose and some fruit to decor.flour I
don’t choose to buy a ticket to music live show as a gift for my mother because you
know, that places is very crowded and noisy with a lot of people so it’s not good for
my mother's brain and also she doesn’t like kinds of places like that.I think a warm
party at her favorite restaurant is also a good idea. However, it costs a lot of money,
and I can’t afford to pay for it because I am a students. And I think it isn't especially
because I can invite my mom to restaurant at any free time.
Situation 6: You just graduated from university and would like to do something
during a gap year before looking for a job. You are considering which option
would be the great opportunity for your gap year.There are three options.
1. Joining an international volunteering organization and doing some volunteer
work.
2. Applying to work for international camp jobs or internships
3. Taking an adventure travel to somewhere in the world.
Well, I think I will join an international volunteering organization and doing some
volunteer work because of the following reasons:
-I feel happy when I make society and create contributions to/
value for life. I used to see images of African people lacking food and clean water,
very thin children because of lack nutrition

through TV and the internet I feel they are so poor, or images of bare forests because
of deforestation and forest fires so I think I need to take action to help people and
protect the environment.
-I have a chance to try something new. Going to a new place so I have a chance
expend my knowledge, doing things that I have never done before will help me gain
new skills and learn a lot of life experiences. And I have a chance to meet a lots kind
of people so I have more relationships.
-I don’t choose to apply to work for international camp jobs or internships because I
think it doesn't bring much value to me because that job is not my major so I guess
what I learned after practicing it is not useful.-I think taking a adventure travel is not
bad idea but The cost for it will also not be cheap and I have to deal with financial
problems after this gap year
Situation 7:You plan to craft a special dinner for your partner and you are
considering what to do There are three options:
1. Going to a restaurant and enjoying authentic local foods
2. Buying some food in grocery stores and prepare a special meal
Strolling around street food stalls and savor some fast foods or snacks
If I have to a plan to craft a special dinner for my partner, I will prepare special meal.
I think that is my best choice because of the following reason:Firstly, I think dinner
for my partner will be more meaningful if this is made by my own hand and can show
my sincerity caring. This handmade special meal can make a surprise for
him.Secondly, I can make a special meal with ingredients When I cook at home, I am
in control, I know exactly which ingredients and how much of each are going into our
food, I can make many dishes which are good for our health. And also eating
homemade foods is usually much cheaper than eating at a restaurant Going to a
restaurant and enjoying authentic local foods is also a good idea However, eating in a
restaurant could be risky and especially, expensive. Because of being a student, I can't
afford to have it I don't choose to around street food and stroll some fast foods or
snacks because many prepared foods are high in fat, salt,and sugar so it may be not
good for us.In shorts, Buying some food and prepare a special meal is my great choice
because it helps me show my sincerity, save money and have a healthier meal.
SITUATION 8: Your University organizes a campaign with different activities to
raise students’ awareness of animal protection. You are considering what you
should do.There are three options:
1. Adopting a homeless dog or cat at pet caring centers
2. Selling handmade souvenirs or baked products to donate for animal
conservation areas
3. Participating in sea animal drawing or photographing contest
I think Participating in a sea animal drawing or photographing contest is the great one
because of the following reasons:
- it's easy to implement and can create a useful playground for their students. By
organizing a competition, students will be interested in participating so this can
improve students' skills and knowledge about animals.
- Students will actively learn about animals to successfully complete their contest.
And so, having a positive impact on the process of education, , and contributing to
making Vietnamese students more responsible with global issues.
+ adopting a homeless dog or cat at pet caring centers: Not everyone can afford to
adopt a pet because they often require specific living requirements and This will be
very difficult if they're allergic to animal hair
+ Selling handmade souvenirs or baked products to donate for animal conservation
areas: Students may have trouble in selling if they lack marketing knowledge and this
could not help much in raising students’ awareness of animal protection because they
do not have to actively learn about animals.For all reasons I put above, I’ll choose
Participating in sea animal drawing or photographing contest as my best choice

- Situation: After your final exam is over, some of your friends are going to make a plan
for a memorable vacation. Which of these places do you think is the best?
There are three options:
1. Sandy beach for swimming and aquatic sports
2. Picturesque mountainous area for picnic
3. Amusement park
If some of my friends are going to make a plan for a memorable vacation after the final
exam, I will choose option 1 which is a sandy beach for swimming and aquatic sports.
Because we really love water activities in the sea, such as swimming, playing volleyball on
the beach, and surfing, which is good for our health.
Besides, walking in the sand, enjoying the wind and hearing the sound of ocean waves is so
relaxing. We can also try some delicious seafood and preserve this memory by taking
photos.
On the other hand, a picturesque mountainous area for a picnic is not a bad choice but
depending on preferences, my group of friends prefer to travel to the sea rather than the
mountains. I think amusement parks are not suitable for us because we do not like crowded
and noisy places. In conclusion, I think option 1 is the best choice for us to make a
memorable vacation.
Situation 3: you have just moved to a big city for further education. You are
considering which option would be the great one for a living place
There are three options:
1. Living in a college dorm
2. Living in a single room/ house for rent
3. Living in a relative or a friend’s house
If I move to a big city for further education, I will choose living in a college dorm. I have
some reason for my choice
- Firstly, I will save much money when I live in college dorm, because renting college dorm
is cheap and normally, college dorm will be located on the campus of the school or located
near the school so I also save on travel expenses. it’s convenient for travelling without
being late for school
- Secondly, it’s safe to live in a college dorm, All dormitories have security guards and are
equipped with external equipment such as cameras lockers etc. Most hostels /have a set
time limit for entry and exit.
- I don’t choose living in a house for rent, because I will live in the same area with a lot of
strangers so I think security is not guaranteed , the property can be lost
And the cost of living is high when I live in a motel . beside, paying for rents and meals
there are more costs incurred such as garbage cost, if I have a motorbike, I must pay extra
for parking.
- I don’t choose option 3, living in a relative or a friend’s house. I feel uncomfortable when
live in relative or friend’s house. Because i feel lack of privacy,I can’t invite my friend to
go to play, I also can’t talk to my friends comfortably on the phone.
