TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF SERVO PNEUMATIC


UNIVERSAL TESTING MACHINE WITH FLEXURAL JIG

Construction & Capabilities


 Loading Frame:
 2 Column load frame
 Fully Adjustable within height of workspace
 Actuator:
 Min. 15 kN Static, double acting servo pneumatic, equal area type with
low friction, long life bearings & seals
 ±15 mm stroke length (total 30 mm) min.
 Internal co-axial (LVDT) displacement transducer
 Close coupling of servo valve to actuator.
 High response, special application, 700 litre/min. servo valve: -3 db @
100 Hz, ±100 % amplitude or better
 Dynamic response: 10-3 Hz to 30 Hz.
 Pneumatic reservoir assembly:
 5 litre stainless steel reservoir with pressure regulator, mist and oil
separator and membrane dryer.
 Load Cell:
 Precision load cell, ±20kN, 0.1%. Normalised output with in-line
signal conditioning.
 Temperature Control Cabinet
 Temperature Range: 5°C to 60° C with accuracy of ±0.2°C
 Should accommodate dynamic load frame inside.
 Chamber temperature can be set remotely by computer and
temperature data can be logged.

Control & Data Acquisition System (CDAS)


 Control:
 High speed, (18 bit) digital servo control, 1 axis.
 Digital closed loop update sampling rate of 2.5kHz.
 Computer programmable, PID control algorithm.
 Adaptive Level Control (ALC) algorithm for best dynamic peak
accuracy.
 3 feedback control mode. i.e. force, position and on-specimen strain.
 Computer programmable digital loading wave shape.
 Acquisition:
 Automatic detection/recognition of transducers.
 Analog inputs are automatically calibrated on power up.
 Simultaneous sampling of all channels.

 20-bit digital resolution acquisition system (without auto-ranging).

Software Requirement
 Pre-programmed “Method files” to perform various international or
standard tests.
 Ability to copy, modify and/or generate user’s own method file(s)
to suit the specific requirements.
 Programmable test wizard to assist through the step-by-step process.
 Simulation mode to allow user to dry-run (without a specimen) using
visco-elastic specimen response model.
 Real time graphing of results and configurable real time transducer
level display.
 Configurable real time dashboard showing test setup, graph, transducer
level and results.
 Ability to send raw data to excel file for processing and display results
in software.

Essential Accessories
 Third point flexural test kit (Compatible with sample size 100 mm x
100 mm x 500 mm) as per ASTM D1635 to be supplied and it should
be able to carry out static and dynamic test on test specimen with the
loading frame as specified above.
 All-in-One PC (make: HP/Dell), min. 23-inch display and height
adjustable, complete set.
 Detailed user manual (in English) and drawings to be supplied in set of
2-copies.
 Consumable goods to be supplied in spares.

Terms & Conditions


 Warranty: 03 years or more
 Installation, Demonstration and Training to be provided by the
supplier/authorized agent at CRRI.
 At least one preventive visit each year during the warranty period is to
be done by the technical representative of supplier/authorized agent.

Eligibility Criteria
 The bidder should have supplied the similar equipment to the national
laboratories/reputed organisations.
 The bidder must attach at least 02 performance certificate for the
similar equipment from national laboratories/reputed organisations.
