Set 6:

 In some places, animal transport is as popular as these modern types of
transport, and sometimes more popular. Take the desert for example,
Camels( ịt xem bồ cen mồ ) are more reliable ( rờ lai ờ bồ ) in the sand than
vehicles( vi cồ ) and better over long distances( đít tần sờ) . Dogs are also
good over long distances( đít tần sờ ) when the weather is bad. It’s
impossible ( in pót sờ bồ ) for cars in such conditions but huskies are more
reliable.

 I find navigating( nát vi ghi đìn) heavy traffic stressful ( sờ choét phồ )
because it can be unpredictable ( ân bơ đít ti bồ ) and time-consuming.

 Yes, I would consider riding bikes to work in the future.

 Letters or emails conveying difficult news or addressing sensitive ( ờ đét
sinh sen ti vồ ) topics can be the most challenging( cha lìn trìn ) to write.

 Yes, I believe email may eventually ( ờ ven chu vồ lì ) replace handwritten
letters for most communication purposes due to its convenience( cin vi ni

A big achievement in my life so far is completing my degree.
3. What will be a big challenge for you in the future?
 A big challenge for me in the future will be balancing work and personal
life effectively ( ờ phép tu vờ li )

 My biggest challenge was being a student. Sitting through the conventional
lectures was sometimes difficult. My mind and body were always going,
and I couldn't wait to get out of my seat, move around, share my thoughts,
and interact with my peers.

 Yes, patience is important because it allows us to endure difficulties and
setbacks without becoming frustrated or giving up.
SET 8

1.
 I missed my flight because the taxi broke down on the way to the airport.
We had to wait for a mechanic, and we didn't get to the hotel until 11 p.m.
The next evening, I ate some seafood and felt really sick. I think I had food
poisoning. What a nightmare!

 The biggest challenge of my life is living away from my family.
Everything feels very strange to me, and I am so lonely that I don't know
who to share it with.

 To overcome difficulties in my life, I focused on setting goals (tập trung

 I spend a total of 6 hours looking at a screen each day.

 I don’t read news about the environment that much but it’s usually bad.

 In my country the government tries to stop people smoking cigarettes (hút
thuốc lá).

 I prefer brick-and-mortar stores (cửa hàng truyền thống) for the
opportunity to physically see and touch products before purchasing.

 Yes, cycling is essential because it promotes physical health, reduces
environmental impact, and provides an efficient mode of transportation.

. Which events do you celebrate in your family or country?


 I would like to talk about Tet Holiday (Lunar New Year). It usually occurs
at the end of January and lasts for 3 days. On Tet holiday, we will have
family unions to catch up with each other. During Tet, Vietnamese visit
their relatives and temples, enjoy special food and give out “lucky money”.
2. Do people wear special costumes or masks in festivals?
 On Halloween, people wear handmade masks and scary costumes such as
witches, vampires, ghosts, skeletons, zombies and monsters.

3. At what age do you think people become adults?
In my opinion, a child officially becomes an adult when he or she turns
18.
4. Describe a hotel you stayed at recently.
 Last week, I went to Nha Trang with my family. We stayed in a 3-star
hotel in front of the beach. It was a very nice and comfortable hotel.
5. Musical instruments can be important national and cultural symbols. What are
some other important symbols of your country or culture?
 Some other important symbols of Vietnam include the Vietnamese flag,
Ao Dai (traditional dress), Lotus flower (Hoa Sen), Conical hat (Non La),
Water buffalo, and Vietnamese cuisine.

 Last week, I went to HaLong Bay with my friends. On the first day, We
did so many activities and took a lot of photographs. In the morning, we
hired a boat for a trip to see the islands. How amazing it is. Then we swam
all morning. After lunch, we took a short rest and walked around places
near there. In the evening, after going back from the club, we sat together
on the beach to see the stars in the sky. It was so romantic and relaxing.

 Every stage of life is essential, but I think young adult years are most
important because, during this stage, we take some important decisions that
can make or spoil our life.
5. Does your country have a traditional type of music and musical instrument?
 Yes, of course. In Vietnam, there are some traditional music such as
‘paddle ’, ‘cairojess’, dating, ,‘red music’ (nhạc đỏ) … . Vietnam has
some traditional musical instrument such as: Bau, erhu, zither, pipa, gourd
trumpet, ... dating
