SafeAssign Assignments

You may use SafeAssign (built into Blackboard), to check your assignments for text-
matching (plagiarism). Once you receive a report, you can amend/change your assignment
to remove the text-matching and then resubmit. Remember to reference all sources used to
write your assignment.

Follow these steps for submitting your assignment:

• Ensure that you have prepared your assignment according to the lecturer’s
instructions
• Make sure you have included your name and student number on the assignment
cover page
• Save the assignment
• Log into uLink, select Blackboard and go to the module where you need to submit
your assignment
• Click on the assignment link provided
• To submit your assignment, click on Browse and upload your saved assignment
document
• Check that you have selected the correct assignment
• Before submitting the document, click the Plagiarism checkbox

I agree to submit my paper(s) to the Global Reference Database

• Click Submit.
