Example in this Document is the BTC Chart on a 4 Hour Timeframe

1. Tradingview Setup

Link: www.tradingview.com

Dark Theme:

Click on your Tradingview Name and hit the Dark color theme
Click on Top left corner. You will see the Charts Page:

1. Drawing Tools
2. Timeframe.
a. One Candle on the Chart represents the Trades within the selected
Timeframe (Candles). Daytraders tend to use the 15Min to 1Hour
Timeframe to see what is happening and get a precise picture of that
day. If you trade once a Week, choose 4 Hours or 8 Hours Timeframe.
For longterm Investments pick the daily Candle Timeframe.
b. Mark your Favorites with a Star to make them selectable in the
Mainview

3. Indicators
a. Click on to add Indicators to your Favorites List and add them to
your Chart
i. Volume
ii. Stochastic RSI
iii. [MISSING]
b. Click on the Eye to make the Indicator Visible in the Chart.

4. Watchlist Name
5. Add Coins/Symbols to Watchlist
6. Watchlist
a. Remove all Symbols from the
Watchlist by clicking on the
appearing X . Add BTC by
clicking on the „+“ (5). Make
sure you choose the right
combination of Coins. If you
are on Binance and your
Basecurrency is USDT then
pick BTCUSDT.

2. Support and Resistance


Pick a Horizontal Line from the Drawing Tools (1, second column) and select the nearest High to
create the Resistance or „roof“ of your Tradingchanel. Next, take a Horizontal Line again and select
the nearest low to create the Support or „floor“ of your Tradingchanel

Rule:

 When braking the Support, it becomes the


Resistance for the next Tradingchanel after it got
tested
 When braking the Resistance, it becomes the
Support for the next Tradingchanel after it got tested
o The blue circles are the Tests of the Zones
3. Trendlines
Pick a Trend Line from the Drawing Tools (1, second column)

Rule:

 Trendlines are active with 2 Points.


 The more Points you get, the stronger the Trend is
